I'm really not a horror movie fan,so i generally avoid them because of their awful speciall effects,but the ones that i've seen and impressed by are:
1)IZAGA by Andy Amenechi
2)RAGING STORM by Tade Ogidan
The atmosphere of evil that should be a component of horror movies was well reproduced and transmitted.Good special effects too.
Which naija horror movies managed to scare you rather than annoy you or make you laugh?

@Vince...........Talking about the horror movies or should I say thriller movies was this only one that I remember vividly was this movie, "Evil Encounter"..................it has been almost more than 10 years or more that this movie had been shown...........I don't know if you remember this movie that I'm talking about...........anyway, I am sure Sola would remember...........

That (Evil Encounter), I think was the scariest most surreal nigerian movie I have ever seen. (To worsen it, me and my older brother bare the same names as the siblings in that movie, so we had sleepless nights for a while.) I still get goose bumps thinking about the movie.

i dnt watch horror movies, but d one my family made me watch was THE UNTOLD wid emeka ike and hanks anuku.

dat movie was SCARY, i watched it in d afternoon, and while i was watchin it, when all d freaky stuff began. i actually ran outside, left d door open n waited for my mom or sis 2 get bk home.

I haven't seen the movie,although i have seen the tape.Like i said,i usually avoid them,even hollwood horror movies,i don't touch.

AIYE by Hubert Ogunde was a hell of a horror movie , don't know if any of u kidz seen it . I don't think It's availabe on video tho .

Now,that's a badass horror movie for real!

I saw it in the cinemas as well.
The atmosphere of evil was masterfully reproduced,and ofcourse,it was shot in 35mm.
I don't think that it will ever come on video lailai which is a great pity.

i expected a lot when i watched this movie, coz i saw RMD, Gloria Anozie etc, but i saw little. really... it was not wonderful.

Nah!The soundtrack is very good.The effects are ok,too.Segun Arinze's facial twists will give you nightmares sha!
