Documentary on NOLLYWOOD.......
U guess must have noticed that khami said we sud watch out for chico ejiro's interview on BBC3.
apparently, NICK MORAN who was sent to nigeria to shoot this documentary, dat documentary is actual a film.
a lil documentary will be shown on the 28th of January 2004 that's on wednesday. showing on BBC3 by 9:00pm
Nick Moran is back from Nigeria with JETTA AMATA (y'all should know him) they are in the UK, to put the finishing touches on the film n documentary which will be airing on wednesday.
The main movie will be released at the end on Feb. or possibly the 16TH of FEB. 2004 (so y'all watch out for dat)
the film will be starring JIM IYKE, KATE HENSHAW and JETTA AMATA who is the star in d movie. And the title of the movie is called "GAME OF LIFE"
Nick Moran commented on JIM IYKE'S acting skills and said that he is a talented guy, and he was surprised that most of the stars could adapt to any accent.
When Nick Moran was asked why did the BBC pick NIGERIAN MOVIES, he said: the nigerian movies are great with a different and catchy title. and people outside nigeria think of the country as a bad place, where dr is always war or poverty. BBC wants the rest of the world to see and watch the nigerian movies and the donated money for this film. this film is said to be the fastest movie made in nigeria.
Nick Moran said the nigerian movies inductry is bigger than the British movie industry.
Nick Moran let a lil secret out of the bag and said him and JETTA will be shooting a movie here in the UK with both nigerian actors/actress, amercian actors/actress and d british actors/actress. this should be done in the near future, he actually said we should wait till March before they can let all the details out. (so that sud be somethin really big - i know every1 wud be excited 2 see d movie)
Nick Moran is now classified as a nigerian director, and he said he would be shooting more nigerian movies outside nigeria.

I found the article quite funny, if not tougue-in-cheek. In other
words, I wouldn't take it too seriously. Lagos is what Lagos is. Any filmmaker going there expecting Hollywood is in for a rude
and necessary awakening .

I just read this article today. Sounded quite interesting. At least it gives one an idea how chanllenging it is to do a movie in Lagos unless he is just exxagerating.
