THANKS EVERYONE,GOD SAID TO BE GOOD TO ONE ANOTHER, YOU CAN MAKE UP FOR YOUR TITHE ANY TIME.GOD WILL UNDERSTAND,THIS REMINDS of a friend of my sister who is a Jahovas witness,she got very sick and needed a blood trasfusion inorder to be saved but her family refuse's because of thier belives,well after the family left, my sister and father donated blood for her, now the lady right now is married with four wonderful kids, three graduated from college with honors.but she still does not know my sister did this, some church doctrines are just too much and and in some ways sound wicked which is not what GOD wants us to do, we have to relly understand the word before we preach

Eversince I read Deuteronomy 14:22-29 right here on Naija rule, that has been my new doctrine. I am glad I no longer suscribe much to that Malichi stuff of robbing God that pastors use to pressure people into righteously putting in their money for fear of the wrath of God. It doesnt need thinking about, go right ahead and save your dying relative or any other good, and God will bless the works of your hands.

I simply cannot believe what I'm reading here. Someone's life is in danger & instead of you to help him/her, you decide to give your money to "God"? Has it occurred to you that God knows everyone's situations & he understands our plight anyway?
Btw, of what use is money to God since he created everything on earth?

I've read some scriptures in the bible & I never for once read about Jesus asking for tithes. Isn't that in the old testament?
So these pastors claim to be following Jesus, but when it comes to money, they revert back to the teachings of the Old Testament. But when it comes to the issue of "an eye for an eye", they shift position to Jesus.
These peeps shift ideologies than John McCain.

Man dey so important to God that Jesus died for Man. Yet some people who claim to serve that same God say obeying the commandment of tithe dey more important than a human life. When it comes to tithe all of a sudden obedience to God is so important. But didn’t that same God say we should not lie? Have sex outside marriage? Cheat? look woman yansh? Did he at any time say u can disobey him in these but not tithe?
One thing I know be say our people don master the art of lying to themselves and interpreting scripture to suit themselves.

And there's one UK preacher on TV who's always preaching about "generation curses". According to him , God says he will "visit the sins of the fathers on their unborn children", and as a result many Africans are suffering from "generation curses". Interestingly, this same pastor claims to have the power to deliver people from generation curses & urges people to go to him for deliverance.

He claims to have more anointing than other pastors. He uses some scriptures to back up his preaching, which is what I call "the sermon of fear".
But the most amazing thing is that people rush to his church forgetting what the Bible says in Eziekel 18 verses 1:4.
Why would God visit the sins of my ancestors on me when I'm clearly innocent & had no knowledge of what they did?
Seriously I'm tired of people being lazy & waiting for pastors to read the Bible & explain it to them. Why can't they read the Bible themselves? It's not as if it's written in Arabic. If someone decides to become a Christian, shouldn't they try & seek knowledge about their religion themselves.
