Its the same with us; we're as vulnerable as our weakest areas. Thats why we generally try to excuse or ignore them. At a time, this same Paul writes" i was given a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations...." God will keep you in touch with your limitations. Why? To embarass you? No, to empower you so you can do his will, his way, in his strength! Every act of God in your life is designed to increase your dependence on him.
So be encouraged today people,dont try to do anything in your own strength,trust me,you really cant!!So, take all of your trust and put it on God, this one thing i know- He wont fail you!  |

I think you may like this. Check out Kemi's Journal written by Abidemi Sanusi. Its christian fiction (which I never really cared about) but this is one good book, I cant put it down. Brief synopsis- Kemi is a 20-something living in London and recently saved. It follows her daily trials and how she gets over them. Amazon has it, wonderful book, wonderful book...that na if you get time sha...

i saw the book online few weeks ago and even went on to read her biography and all, i think id like it too. Im not really one that buys things over the internet so i'd see if i can get it off bookshops in London. Thanks.

pple this might end up being short or long, i cant tell yet but i just feel inspred to write something.....i hope it blesses someone
You know guys,
Sometimes you just get to the end of yourself and you just want to throw in the towel. Your strength is sapped and motivation is no more in your dictionary??
Has anyone been there before?
Sometimes even the people you think will be there for you are not and you feel like "gosh!,whats this world about?"
I have been there these past two weeks. For me,it wasnt a place of disappointment but a place of being burnt out.
It was so intense at uni and you hardly even have time to do anything else......
Can i encourage someone today to please not throw in the towel. For the less motivated, please,talk to someone u know can motivate you again. For the disappointed, please throw all caution to the wind and CHOOSE to forgive. Practically what i did was just completely let go for few minutes or at least an hour everyday and think of nothing!
Thank God for naijarules......when im stressed i just come here to laugh sometimes by just reading other peoples posts!
Im saying this cos people, life is to be enjoyed,not endured!
If you are simply existing and not living, and i mean living life to the fullest, then you need to chill out and re-evaluate.
I had to tell myself many times"Get your priorities right!" Its only a person who is alive that can study or work,abi now? And living life to the fullest does not necessarily imply wealth, though it is a major aspect of life.
I think contentment is the key that works for me. Be happy wherever you're at today. No condition is permanent and Rome wasnt built in a day. Tomorrow will take care of itself so relax and enjoy today like its going to be your last. Friends or no friends, money or no money, in a relationship or not, runaway wife/husband or not, success or no success( whoever says failure is final anyway?).........wherever you're at today friends,please i beg you to give God thanks for the gift of life and make the best of today.
You use more muscles to frown than to smile and by frowning,youd age quicker anyway, so at every opportunity you get, give a little smile away, you never know, it might make a difference between giving up and going on in another's life......dont forget, its not always about you!

Oh He is my dear! He's got so much patience! If he decides to strike at every mistake made,lie told, grudge kept, money stolen, unforgiveness held, murder, gossip, or what have you, we'd all be long gone. But NO.......he looks at us and goes like,"see this children o!They think i'm going to give up on them? Id just give them one more chance.i love them too much!" Gosh that blows my mind,it beats me, i cant fathom it!
But its not for us to ask, only for us to acknowledge and love him back in return,(cos he loved us first), love each other and serve his purpose.
