I am sorry this is long. But i hope someone at least gets blessed by it!(it is mostly from my devotional-but paraphrased)

"You would not be so critical of yourself, or so conscious of the opinions of others if you knew how God really felt about you!He made up his mind about you before you failed, so repent and dismiss the guilt, for guilt is the offspring of unbelief:it insults God's mercy. Stop running around looking for love. Open your heart: God is speaking to you today in the very circumstances you are trying to escape. He is the one you need when life has wounded you and you have fallen from your nesting place like a bird. Only his hand can catch your falling soul, cast it to the wind and give you strength to try again and to succeed!

The problem is, we have never been loved by anyone the way God loves us, so we have nothing to compare it to! Some of us have never been secure in the love of our natural parents and it affects how we see our heavenly father. Go to his word, it is a living love letter. It is a "statement of intent" from one who wants only the best for you.

'But i fall far short', you say. The good news is: nothing you have done or havent done has changed his mind. His love for you is constant and unconditional.

No parent wants their child to be insecure or question their love. That is why God disciplines us,develops us, and delights in us! The fact that he loves yo ueven when you are wrong, is what gives you the power to right the wrongs you have done". So pple, experience God's love afresh today and youd be glad you did!


Hope this encourages someone today!

For those of you that are going through one problem or the other in your workplace,education,business,relationship,marriage or what have you? This is to encourage you to keep holding on. You cant afford to give up now! Youve come this far and theres no looking back.
I wish you strength and courage to face your fears and take back what belongs to you-your JOY,VICTORY,SUCCESS,JOB etc etc.

Wow! How wonderful, that really encouraged me, because sometimes I look at myself and all I mostly see are my faults, when others talk about what they do that's good or this or that, I'm always feeling like I'm not living according to God's will for me, but I loved that little word of encouragement, it made me happy just now, and continue to post devotionals, I'm sure it's always gonna bless someone.

I read a story the other day about a mum who wanted to encourage her little boy to keep practising the piano, so she took him to hear Padarewski play. They sat near the front, and the boy was fascinated by the big grand piano on the stage.

While his mother was talking to a friend, she didnt notice her son slip away.As the house lights dimmed, and the spotlight hit the piano, she gasped as she saw her son on the piano bench, playing "Twinkle, Twinkle little star." Before she could get to him, Paderewski walked over to the keyboard and sat down beside the boy. "Dont quit,keep playing,"he whispered.

Then he reached down with his left hand and began filling in the bass part, and with his right arm he reached around the other side encircling the child and added a running obligato.
Together the old master and the child brought the crowd to its feet.

Folks, no matter how ill-equipped you may feel today, theres a word for you: "Dont quit, keep playing!". No matter what you're doing today:raising those children, running that business,pastoring that church, studying for that degree, or just trying to be a better person, whatever it is you're doing, dont quit, keep playing, and God will add whatever is needed to turn your efforts into a masterpiece!

Imagine four steel rings. The first can support up to 80 pounds, the second 60 pounds, the third 40 and the fourth 20. Linked together,whats the greatest weight the chain can support? Two hundred pounds? No! A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, so the answer is 20!

Its the same with us; we're as vulnerable as our weakest areas. Thats why we generally try to excuse or ignore them. But thats dangerous;because by relying on your own resources you start thinking you can handle everything alone. Paul (in the bible) spent the first half of his serving God according to his own best thinking-with disastrous results!

Despite his great ability, he had to learn to rely on God. He even said that " i will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that God's power may rest on me". Hinderances, handicaps and hurdles are God's gifts to the self-sufficient!While he wont allow you to use your weakness as a crutch or a cop-out, he'll allow it to keep you dependent on him.

At a time, this same Paul writes" i was given a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations...." God will keep you in touch with your limitations. Why? To embarass you? No, to empower you so you can do his will, his way, in his strength! Every act of God in your life is designed to increase your dependence on him.

So be encouraged today people,dont try to do anything in your own strength,trust me,you really cant!!So, take all of your trust and put it on God, this one thing i know-He wont fail you!
