Corrected it.It was a typo.
Now can you give us a reason why you think it is not a myth,apart from the fact that it is in the bible?
And the question of the stone age man still remains unanswered.We all know that the stone age man is much older than the biblical Adam and Eve.
Or do you want to disprove the existence of the prehistoric humans?

The stone age to me is myth....and there was never a time all Humanity were living like that... Yes some people lived close to that (uncivilized if u will) but never like that!..... All those garbage thought to us as kids are just that, garbage!. Man never ate raw meat before they discovered fire. In late eighties a tribe was found by some scouts in Nigeria up in the Hills in some jungle. These people never knew about the outside world. Cars,light,houses...etc Finally our government brought them down and tried to incorporate them into our society. These are the same type of people called early man, or stone age..... Yet they were discovered only yesterday.

Again I saw on Discovery Channel... during an excavation they discovered IRON, at a place where they never dreamt off and they later said it proves IRON existed longer than they thought all along. Having said this lil piece.. I know modern science is doing a lot of good things, but it doesn't decide everything I believe... because there is also Spiritual things and laws. Yet “Physical laws and Spiritual law" are two different things. Most of what Science is based on is Physical laws and so it cant be the Soul authority on all things! I am more a Creationist than Evolutionist it makes more sense and answers more questions. To me Saying the world came from nothing is the most stupid thing anybody can say cause 0+0=0 And to your question, you said "Apart from the Biblical Account" Well that is the only account I have of the beginning of life... So unless you can show me another account that makes a lil sense, I am sorry to say I have to stick with the Biblical account!..... My own question to you is if There is Indeed GOD,KRISNA,HIGHER BEIGN or whatever you call him.... doesn't that beign have the power to pass knowledge to us about the beginning of Man??? PS: Most things thought in schools today to disprove the existence of God and his scriptures has all be debated, agued and sometimes won by Christian Scientist (Creationist) the only reason people still stick to the old things is because they have not read or even bothered to see what these Creationist are saying. There seem to be an existence of life before Adam. And earlymen you refered to are mostly people God dispersed on the face of the earth after tower of babel.

The funny thing is that the creation "myth" has many versions and twists. Same story, but different versions, and that's what the devil does - producing counterfeits to things God already established - Wolf in sheep's skin.

Assuming the account of God-creation is a myth, what then explains the beginning and existence of man?

Multi,there is so much that we do not know about God and the creation.That is why we have the scientists probing and searching.Let's wait for them,maybe they will come up with some answers.But as far as getting the answers from the world religions,you can forget it.They will only stuff us with all kinds of myths that they have been doing since 2 milleniae.

That is exactly the central problem here.What exactly are those things that God has already established as far as the creation is concerned?Who has the right version?I guess we will never know.

I thought that the tower of babel was post Adam.Every event that took place in the bible was post Adam,apart from the civil war in heaven.

Prehistoric man is a myth,khami?!Even after the discoveries of proofs of their existence,like cave drawings and skeletons dating back millions of years?I rest my case right here!

Theologians claim that it was Moses who wrote Genesis, and that's probably why they chose his own (true?) God-breathed version. Just because there are many other similar stories out there and the non-existence of Eden in our present world doesn't mean that the Biblical version is untrue or unreal. The world experienced a major visible change after the flood. Historians and geologists are beginning to look deeper into Noah’s story, and I believe after they finalize their research, a lot might be answered about Eden.

Yeah, I agree that there is so much man has yet to apprehend about God! But could it be that there is no God? Could it be that the world and its inhabitants evolved? Could it be that other accounts in the Bible (speaking on behalf of christians) are nothing but unfounded fabricated fairy tales?

Waiting for Scientist to probe and tell us about God when lost of them dont even believe in the existence of GOD... Dont you think that is contradictory... Scientist of today are the new gods, they dictate what goes so why should they allow another to take their place??... Saying we should forget what the scriptures says and depends on Science is old news... some of us who want inner truths have looked beyound what u call Science today....

VINCE HERE IS THE PROBLEM
There is the Eastern science (Yogi, Mystics, Sages, Guru)
African Science (Voodo, Ogun, Sango, To cure with Herbs, Agbo etc)
Western Science (Medecine-paracetamol... etc, going to the moon)
Spritual law/Science?? (Laying hands on the sick and healing them, anointing oil and healing with it)

So when you say lets wait for SCIENTIST which one are you refarring to?? The Western I presume. But then again the western science doesnt agree with the others up there and every one of them is as real as the WESTERN science and some of them more powerful.... My question is why should I base my belief souly on the Western Science?? When I have seen the others with my own eyes working???..... To me western Science is one of the least important because it depends on guessing/research and slowly creeping on... While doing that, the others have long established their claimes and moved on!. HAVE U EVER WATCHED "THE MESTRY WORLD OF AUTHOR CLAKE" ON DISCOVERY??.... All the event there coundnt be explained by Western Science, cause most are Spritual or Eastern Science... Yet I should based my beliefs on Western Science??.... Vince, abeg take ur time and give me ur thoughts/explanation on these cause it is very important to me and I am really intrested. Thanks..

PS: Dont think i am crazy or easily bought (because of my beliefs) because i was once like you and that lead me to different stuffs.... reading Mystics books (I spent a lot of time in Hare Krisna temple) and there are so many things I discoverd there that Western Science couldnt prove.
