Director: Gabriel Moses
Main Actors: Jim Iyke, Pete Edochie.
Brief Synopsis:
Rich man's only son is a very bad boy (so what else is new?

) and his parents are at their wits end because he got sent to America and they had to bring him back home because of bad behaviour, most universities in Nigeria have kicked him out despite his father's money. His parents have tried all to no avail to reform their boy. Then suddenly (you got it!) cupid strikes and he falls for a born again girl. He starts doing things in secret admirer style to win her heart. And it turns out, the girl's father and the boy's father have some prior dealings.
Will she agree to date him?
If she does agree to date him will he change his ways?
What will his gang-banging thuggish friends do if the girl succeeds in having her way with him?
Finally, how does the two fathers' prior dealings factor into this story?
My thoughts:
Let's just go ahead and dump this in the flop thread.
Somebody please shoot me for sitting thru this movie.
Took them just about the whole movie to establish the fact that he is a bad boy. Alright already, I got that fact by the second scene (which shows how badly, and how long the scenes were stretched out)
Where do I even start dissecting this movie?
The too long scenes? the very stupid, tiring, corny american accent? or the very, God help me, predictable plot??
The whole twist at the end of the thing was a major distraction. What did it serve to accomplish? NOTHING. It was introduced in the last five minutes of the movie. Who wrote this crap anyway? aren't you supposed to introduce a conflict of this magnitude either in the beginning or in the middle?
There was no time to develop it at all, they just threw it there, and it served no purpose at all other than to show that the father is a heartless bastard. I could have told you that. I'm sure he didn't get rich by sitting on his damn ass and being nice to everyone. It did not do anything for the movie at all.
And then, after all the noise the friends made, you thought they were going to do something, but they didn't.
i was sitting there, waiting for a showdown between the friends and our main character, but no show.
Verdict: 1.5/10
(p.s. Jim Iyke is a TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE kisser. what the f**k was he doing at the kissing scene?? trying to lick her face? chop her mouth?? really, WTF??

)
What I was wondering was why didn't the father just cut off his source of money for the boy? apparently he's used to having everything his way and if he suffers small, he'll know say na condition make crayfish bend like so. It kills me when parents of spoiled children don't know that they are the cause of their kids turning out like that.
