I think we talk about similar topic before.
Anyone ever notice how Mama G says "Propty" instead of Property?

Sorry, I agree with Angel81 on this one, Hubs. Her arguement is mostly about those who speak with phony, shaky accents and all the people on her list are guilty, guilty, guilty of trying to speak as though they are not Nigerian, in the meantime some have never left Nigeria or have spent two weeks in either London and/or America but then get home and start forming like crazy.
No doubt, Dakore speaks well but she keeps swinging between a British accent and an American accent, I was watching Caught in the Middle and it was nuts...back and forth and back and forth like ping pong between the two accents then her Nigerian accent go put head for window to say "HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO."

Don't even go down this lane, or you will make me burst with laughter.
Haven't you heard them saying call the "plis" as against (call the police?)

OMG!!! ..that irks me to no end!!!!! But you know what? if Beyonce could come up with "bootylicious", and Webster included it, then I guess Nollywood can own the phrase "HOW DO YOU MEAN".... just kidding

bob Immanuel in Games Women play, had my godsis and I hollerin' with the "am abat too lose ma tumpuh" scene. The bad thing is that a lot of these people in other flicks, have proven that they can act, but if I can't see your acting for the fog of your voice, then you have failed at your job.......i'm just saying
