Well my admiration for the star actress Genevieve Nnaji really overshadows the views of others who want to argue the fact that she´s an outstanding superstar.I like her no doubt to the extend of even creating a fan club of her here in Germany.I´m not a scitic,but I think the movy house can also create bringout the talent of other actresses who could become like her or even morethan if they stop fishing from a particular of the river.
Let them create for other actresses to make a choice from similar and not particular as usual.

More actresses are getting lead roles these days,sister.
As the asking fees of stars like genny and omoT skyrocket,other actresses will get their chances.

My humble contribution is that new actors/actresess will come up on based on the market forces, need and talent. A perfect example is JENNIFER OKEREKE who is already rubbing shoulder with who is who in this business in no time. Anybody wonder why we don't see faces like LIZ BENSON anymore? The lady has overprized her self out of the market. With the way these people are charging right now it will either make them or mar them.

You don't just CREATE actors and actresses. There are several variables that impact on who emerges as a star. There is the age factor. That is why a Patience Ozokwor will not be more popular than her younger counterparts - becuase only adults can relate to her roles and teenagers and people in their 20s make stars, not adults. We don't get hooked like that.

There is the looks factor. Good looks does not automatically translate into what the audience will love. It has to be a certain kind of good look. And even at that, everyone will not like it - but if most people do, then it is a positive. This includes, height, weight, smile and all the other things that encourage empathy.

There is the luck factor. You must have been lucky enough to have received the right roles at the right time in the right movie that is marketed "rightly" by the right marketer - to make it popular enough for the whole world to grab.

There are many other things. No, you can't just CREATE stars. Stars get made by a combination of factors and some will rise to the top and others will perpetually play small roles.

BY THE WAY, how did Blackqueen know Liz Benson overpriced herself out of the market?

U ARE VERY WRONG LIZ DID NOT OVER PRIZED HERSELF... SHE IS STILL VERY MUCH AROUND... JUST THAT SHE'S SELECTIVE WITH SCRIPTS AND SHE IS BUSY WITH OTHER THINGS... There are already new actresses o. I watched a new girl in 'What God has joined together'. Her name is Ibi Eno - well not too sure. But she struck me the way Genny did when I watched the last party years back.

There is this Child actress in LITTLE ANGEL starring RMD she was JESSICA I think her name is Sharon Ezeamaka that little girl will go places She has so much resemlance to STELLA DAMASUS ABODERIN when you watch this film take note.

Sola and khamileon let me clarify that statement o. I no just dey yarn anyhow. Let me give you the lowdown. We had an influx of NAIJA child trafficking/ prostitution here. The Naija women association of which I was the president was working closely with Mrs. Igbinedion and the ministry of Women affairs here. We decided to to do a documentary on this subject. We liked Liz Benson and we wanted someone like her to sell our project. The agents we contacted in Lagos told us she was a no go area as her fees was impossible and that is why a lot of producerS are not using her anymore. The project is still on hold as the replacement offered somehow does not fit the pic .
