it does not matter how big they are. Most of them are really beautiful. There is point trying to measure how beautiful an african woman looks by using the white lady as a standard. Africans shold learn how to apprecaite their natural makeups than follw stereoyypes. Our actresses are the most beautiful no matter how large they may be.

I think u should first of all convince the african woman to be happy w/t her natural looks , tell her not use fake hair , fake nails , lip gloss , skin toning creams . Also tell her not wear mini skirt , thong , wonder bra , high heels , tell her not use all those stuff that boost her ego , make her feel wanted and beautiful .
Don't forget to tell her not to read cosmopolitan and all those mags that taught her about beauty , fashion and how to deal w/t her man ruthlessly if he doesn't comply w/t most of her wishes .
If u can tell her to be an african woman like her great grand mother , then I'd see her as an african woman ...

Wrong! Wrong!! Wrong!!! and I say wrong in all. you can only say that ("Our actresses are the most beautiful no matter how large they may be.") if you want to encourage them afterall who go say im mama soup no sweet na hot ogbolo go kill am!
but in the natural sense, we should learn and innovate from the whites. I can only discourage our immitating them. cos we can never be somebody else but ourselves.
But on the contrary, I agree with you in their stereotypic patern of make ups; it is because we feel we know to immitate a lot. little did we know that if a white woman makes up and a black woman immitates,the make up can only end up being a charcoal-like stain in her black body.

I see that We still misunderstand the term "african woman"! There is a great difference b/w an african woman and a village woman. Both are not thesame. Agreed, it is neither high heels, artificial make up that makes an african woman nor is when you do make ups that removes you from being an african.
Unerstand that the ideal african woman is in the character of an african. Remember, the african woman differs in height, stature, weight, look, etc. This takes us to how we really define the term "beautiful"
I wrote a book "The beautiful look" IT talks about the different kinds of beauty. NOt to go too far on it, I will say for all women to be beautiful, first, know your kind of beauty and nuture it.

Most of the actresses are gorgeous...i think we need to loose the blonde wigs and bright red lipstick though...but all in all, we are on point...totally on point.
