Wink The Lounge!

Yep yep, I am starting an NR journal y'all. Sit back, put your feet up and relax. I will officially start updating as the days come by. By the way, y'all feel free to rant as much as you want in here, afterwards though, be sure to get yourself a martini so as to calm down, and if anyone feels the need to holla at me, stop in here for all things Yvonne. I might also pull in some info off other threads for my journal, and I hope y'all will notice that also. I'm going to take a break now though, need to get me some Coffee and Baileys, with some whipped cream on top.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............

***Disclaimer*** No topic is taboo in here, so feel free to spill your guts. Gracias.

You will be surprised that rental insurance is only about 10 to 15 dollars per month Yvonne....look into it....as it is very important. Just the other day, in Greenbelt, MD a block of apartments burnt down to the ground and out of 64 apartments only 5 people had rental insurance. Although it was a sad thing to lose everything like that, it was actually a blessing in disguise for those who had rental insurance as they were getting roughly 25,000 to 30,000 dollars back. According to some of them, the money was five times more than what they actually owned and as a result, they can now put some of the money down for a house....so you see, it is good to have. think about it gurl.

You make a very good point. Gosh I was thinking, what if the entire building (almost 100 apartments) burnt down, with my stuff in it. Oh Well!! Apparently the fire was on the 2nd floor and I'm on the 3rd. Thanks goodness, I even got tired of waiting for them to give us the okay to go back in, I went back to my apt after finding out it was on a different floor. Don't even know if its against the law to be in a building when the fire alarms go off.

yvonnie.........welcome to the world of NR journaling! fires always scares the hell outta me. i remember this one time, a friend of mine called me and was yelling on the phone like my apartment's on fire, that i need to get out, half the building was burning (my apt could be seen from a major road). so we - my roommates and i - all rushed out got downstairs and you wouldn't believe but the whole left corner of my building was literally up in flames. i couldn't believe i survived that! it actually turned out to be a hate crime cuz the first floor of my building was a mosque and someone wanted to burn it down.

oh, so what happened to your things and do you NOW have insurance? I have always had rental insurance and although sometimes I feel my money is going to waste, I am pretty sure the very day I cancel the insurance something terrible will happen.

well i lived on the 20th floor and surprisingly the building did not actually crash! i had to stay with a friend for about a week for them to rebuild the bottom left corner of the building but all my stuff was safe and fine.

I plan on moving pretty soon, so I'm not thinking of getting renters insurance right now. But gosh, I was worried, after all my shopping over the weekend, I won't even get to wear my new clothes, now that would make me mad, you know hard it is to find the same items again.......

Whats new !!!
The concert was phenomenal...The Miami City Ballet performed !!After that we went to a nice restaurant and guess who walks in the Principal ballerina and another dancer....but men she really needed to eat. I mean her chest bones were all visible on stage...she had to be anorexic !!

They sat outside by the fountain even though it was cold !!

I think I like the way last years Nutcracker ended ..it was a different company that performed. This one was pretty good at least I wasnt sleepy !!
But those ballerinas have got to have banged up toes and feet ...with all those Pirouttes they did ! It was fun anyhow !

The custumes were phenomenal too ..very vintage like tutus !
Cheers

Wow, that's pretty nice. I've never been to a ballet, I've been to plays though. Ballerinas are always skinny, aren't they, I mean if they aren't hip hop dancers most of the dancers I see can be quite skinny. Talking about food, I am very hungry.

Oh by the way, can you imagine that jamal is hoping that we all make it to next year. That's interesting the number of two-faced-pigs that roam the free world, especially when messing around with juju and the like. You know he is from Ngwa in the East and they are said to be very fetish people (which is a long tale on its own), I can only imagine the amount of desperation that he's facing. I won't be surprised that he even goes as far as that, shows the psychotic state of mind that he's in after loosing so much. We'll talk more about it sha. Just got done working out, need to take a shower.

I mean, you cannot bring in a houseboy and clean them up, no matter what it is, a house boy will ALWAYS be a houseboy. Don't marra if he blabs about things that he only wishes he could get or have you know. I taya sha.

And then I don't even want to get into his other girl's issues!

Its desperation infact someone else made the same comment she is from Burundi and actually started out with Tharah (thats her correct spelling she got the name from the hotel in Las Vegas...Harrah...and she customized it with a T in front less one r!) She has always had such preferences...I think its bcos she was given away for marriage at a very young age and ran away from the village or something like that that. So she kinda missed out on a lot of things in life. She went to school via adult ed and that was how she advanced...but those initial insecurities followed her. I think her husband was abusive to her and he had another older wife !
She was lucky cos she lived many years in Nevada and got to meet a few celebrities that got her interested in entertainment !!! If she doesnt talk u wont know she is from Naija !! she has perfected the art of social climbing and makebelieve...but all u have to do is bring out a plate of Okazi soup and akpu and u will see the village girl in her..... If only she stopped messing with the younger dudes she wont get caught in such problems. I think from what the Burundi girl said she is going through a transformation getting closer to spiritual matters and the juju stuff will probably be history !

I laff if for one second you think jamal is going spiritual. Is that what you call daytime spiritual and nighttime Gigolo. Don't be fooled. Jamal can do all he can to make it look like he is going spiritual, I do not for one second believe it. I mean isn't this the same Jamal that has been called the "G" word too many times. This girl that dated him actually said he was "easy", as in 1 night hit. If that isn't desperation I really don't know what is. I was even there in FL for his 33rd birthday bash, did you go to it?. I can tell you for sure that he is way past his prime. We both know that he isn't a looker and neither is he holding it down on the cash end, I mean if he had the money, I can see girls flocking to him. But dayum, at his age, with his looks and his poorness (even though he keeps talking of things he wishes he had), I won't put it past him to use any means possible to keep any girl that gives him the slightest attention. So I can completely see how juju might be feasible.
