It is. The wheat is being separated from the chaff now more readily. And the ones who can't meet up with the new standard will be relegated to their level, of course.
True, the VFX/CGI of the film isn't the 'best' but on a whole the film looks like an 'exciting' move in Nigerian filmmaking. Multiple factors can make an audience quite forgiving... the visuals look 'good enough' and the sound is 'good' too.
More 'experts' will join the trend and it just seems like a 'good' thing to me!

Well, most interior airplane scenes are filmed in some sort of studio where you have control and space. Since we don't have that facility in Nigeria, I won't be surprised if they flew the cast to another country to do it. It would be cheaper than to attempt constructing it in Naija.
Everything shot in Lagos. A real plane was bought and later destroyed. That film is a mega budget compared to regular Naija films.

I very much doubt that, rudie. No naija film has a budget mega enough to have a plane destroyed in it. Hard to believe they would do that for a movie.

Shell of a plane? There are tons of plane carcasses in Naija to use as 'plane crash' parts. We can clearly see in the film the plane CGI bits.

Have to agree with you there simply because we can see the 'not a real plane' shots. Still they tried well, well.

:shock Was the plane remotely crashed or blown up by the movie crew?
My bet for now is on 'none of the above'.

Shell of course, but it did cost some handsome amount of money that got me wondering why the plane should even crash in the movie!
Chief Vince, Kolinzo, and all, take it from me, (I pull no legs this time) a plane was purchased and destroyed in the film. Obi is insane and ambitious at the same time.
