Another classic yoruba flick produced and directed by Adebayo Salami (oga Bello), when i say classic, i mean classic cos it reminds u of wemimo movies..u know dat kind of thing? It stars Sola sobowale, Bukky wright, Ope Ayeola, Muyiwa Ademola, Funsho Adeolu, Toyin Adegbola, Lanre Hassan, and so many other stars..its a political thriller that revoles around a good president who had a bad wife despite his father's repeated warnings and how his wife tried to chase away a female politician who also had been of great contribution and good to the society but this president gets fed up with his wife's attitude and gets a new wife and the first wife....it has a second part and i cant wait for it..It was good and when i say good, i mean good. Although i almost got tired at the beginning.

Just started watching this flick,and so far,so impressive.I just love the technical quality of the production.Very high,indeed!Definitely, in terms of production value,it makes Madam Dearest look like an amateur job.
Will be back with my full report after completion.
BTW,i love the 100% yoruba dialogues o!

MW,in terms of image and sound quality,camera work,Madam does not hold a candle to Agbara Obirin.Didn't you see how rich the colours were?How lush the audio sounded(well almost,anyway)?How realistic the scenes were lit?Madam did not do very well in these areas,as far as i am concerned.

Something i found very interesting in the contents of the Agbara Obirin VCD are the drug commercials.
Looks like everyone is doing selfmedication in naija these days, and boycotting prescriptions from qualified doctors.
The commercials all go something like this;

XTER A :-
Ore mi,ki lo n'se omo re ADENIKE?

XTER B :-
Aah,ore mi,bi a se ri ma ni yen o!N'se ni omo yi ma n'sinto,ti o m'bi,pelu iba,arariro,ati ki o ma sun sha!O ti su mi o!

Lola,i said "technically",Madam looks amateurish.I was not referring to the storyline itself and the way it was delivered.The image and sound quality of Madam is nowhere near as professional as in Agbara.I am really impressed by the high production value of Agbara.That quality just draws me into the movie,something that 99% of other nolly flicks don't do because of their terrible image and ,especially, sound quality.I am yet to see part 2,sha.

Anyways the audio was great i agree and the sound quality, bu wont say one is better than the other, maybe i should re-watch both then i would be able to say.

I don't need to rewatch.The memory is still fresh.The audio of Madam was so bad that i had to keep readjusting the volume,as it kept going up and down,then up again.Not what i expect from a Tade Ogidan flick.
Maybe the fault came from the VCD itself,i don't know.
