Ladies and gentlemen, I am delighted to announce that Aiyekooto is a great movie. Some of una no say I no dey recomend jagajaga movies and trust me when I say this movie is up there with the best of best of the movies out of Naija movie industry.

Aiyekooto is a Yoruba movie subtitled in English. Directed by Adebayo Tijani, a high profile Naija director, Aiyekooto is a story that will keep you at the edge of your seat, it's full of suspense, thriller, and drama. Four University students decide to play games with life and fate takes an unexpected turn as nature proves its relevance. The movie features high profile actors like Jide Kosoko, Khadirat Kafidipe, Femi Adebayo, Muyiwa Ademola, Dele Odule, Ibrahim Chatta just to mention a few. This movie is exhilarating. It is all that and a bag of chips!

Don't hold your breath, el general. She does not see herself as a good reviewer of movies.
Lol...how did you know? Yea, I dont think I do a good job reviewing movies. No be my forte jare.

With that said, Aiyekooto was AMAZING!!! It has a part 2 though that is not yet out.

4 students Femi Adebayo, Khabirat Kafidipe, Ibrahim Chatta, and Bisi Komolafe decided to play a prank to extort money for Ibrahim's higher education since he just gained admission. The game they decided to play turned on then and caused real terror in their lives. I can't say anymore because I would be giving out the really exciting plot. There was suspense from beginning to end and will keep you salivating for more. The acting was superb and Khabirat was really good with the fear and facial expressions especially at the end. I was really feeling her pain. I enjoyed the scenery especially in the forest they were hiding at. The storyline is really fresh and I felt like I was actually watching a real movie not all these regular storylines that you already know what would happen.

I would need to watch part 2 to actually rate it though. I dont know why they made it 2 parts. Bro Vince check it out on that website I provided for the Igboya trailer and let us know what you think :)

Okay. Just finished watching. Directing standard not great but definitely bearable. Good thriller. Good suspense. Ok watch. No Tope Alabi songs telling us the plot in advance. Glory be to God for that one.

The movie was just alright. Especially with ending of the movie it started dragging so I was forced to fast forward some scenes.
No spectacular acting o, as far Blackpearl is concerned o. The movie is a good watch but it does not have the WOW factor in my opinion! Happy watching.

Haha! Tope's moralising and preaching lyrics can get very irritating and annoying. Sometimes i can just hear myself willing her to shut the eff up and let one concentrate on the movie proper.
