THe movie was not what it was hyped up to be. Stella overacts on almost every occasion nowadays and how many times is she going to be paired w/ RMD. When I see stella in a movie is like when I see Chiege Alisiwe or whatever her name is. I get bored and I shut if off quickly. She just dramatizes it too much especially her crying and yelling scenes. The movie was not all that. I think its Emem Isong's films, Games Women Play (which I only watched because Omot and Gene were acting together), Private Sin (this movie was a yawner), Emotional Crack (the lesbian thing was the only thing that spiced it up) and some others. THis lady's storyline is good but she messes up somewhere in between the story. Her movie's aint all that great, if you ask me.
I've observed that. She has good ideas but sleeps during the middle of her story. I have to give it to her though, her movies are entertaining!

I know this is an old movie although some of us are still waiting for part 3 to see just what heck it is going to say. I saw it again tonight just for the fun of it and I had to come say something. I no fit lie. I enjoy am well, well.
While it had some flaws (story flow, medical incredibility, lack of explanations or dragged out scene) here and there. It is still one of the best nolly movies I've seen because it tugged at my heartstrings, I got drawn into the xters lives and it pulled at my emotions. I had lots of favorite moments and there were lots of scenes that made me go perfect delivery (of course that I am watching it the second time and knew when to fast forward past the uncessary scenes helped a lot). I noticed a lot more subtle delivery in the actors's expression this time around. The end was quite a surprise for me the first time I saw it, but the deterioration of Oasis to the state he was at the end was quite an emotional roller coaster. I think Desmond did a great job protraying the demons chasing around inside of Oasis and how he could not handle the reality that was to become his life. Loved seeing Patience play a loving mother-in-law and mother. SDA was incredible in her role, strong first then falling apart later, it was great and RMD was well RMD, he delivered as is, his norm

I no fit lie, me really like this one-o and will love to see the part 3, if done as well or better.

From reading the first few pages of reviews, seems this duo (Lancelot and Emem) produced and directed critical decision, darkest night and games women play. I should watch out for more of their other movies. They are headed in the right direction.

yes o. stella didnt die and rmd later married stella and dessy went to jail and oops! sorry is the part 3 out yet? emem sorry o
Or maybe Dessy went to the nut house. Me, I was thinking he was going crazy from too much plotting and hatching of bad karma plans... :roll with now defunct dead brother, whom he made sure met his maker like he was suppose to have done 2 months prior... and NOW THE LINEAGE really died... because Ivie didn't make it afterall. What a tragedy for Mom who tried soo hard to instill prayers into her spawns and instead got womanizer and en-route-to-crazyville :)

That is a good movie indeed it is in my top 5 list. However, I heard that part 3 will not be coming out from a Nigerian movies producer/marketer in the Netherlands about a year ago. He metioned that the ban of some of the actors playing was one of the reasons. He also said that if the demand is huge that probably other actors will be playing the roles of RMD and maybe even Stella in part 3. If that will be the case I am not even going to bother to watch it when it comes out.
