Ban? What ban? You are right about people's opinions but the singing was too much.. haba.. then the praying.. we already got the point that she is a singer.. did she have to sing the whole Whitney Track? Then the mama was praying.. and she prayed and prayed and prayed.. I was still fast forwarding.. she was still praying..

You are absolutely right about those scenes. It was a bit exaggerated.
I'm talking about the stars who were banned for one year,

I think the problem is trying to stretch a one part movie into two or three brings about all this long scenes. It really don't make sense. I hope they stick to good one part movies and if necessary, part two.

Desmond always sweat even when he is not angry. But in that movie there is alot of tension on him. So the sweat is excusable.

SDA is not going to die. Thats why some people who heard the gun shot. She is going to deliver that baby. Since we dont know who he shot at the end. Its better to be RMD xter.
What the writer can do now is fast forward the story. Give us a voice over of Desmond narrating what happened to SDA and RMD. Then the Child (grown up now), Desmond and Grandmother will make the Part 3 and may be SDA xter family. Because with all that happening to her we didnt even get to see who her mother, father, sister or brother is. All we know is her singing crew.

@ Ayesha....I see your points. I was seeing the same thing and I did the same thing with the movie-fast fowarded few times.
I just saw this movie 4days ago and I think it's entertaining, not all that, but entertaining. Too many loop holes in the movie. Emem Isong needs to do better job writing her stories. He/She has good ideas but always losing focus in the middle his/her movies, hence, makes the movies questionable at the end! But like I said this movie is entertaining just like the rest of her movies, like Private sin, Games women play.
Now on the part three coming out, just what is gon be behind close door about it. Maybe one of them is dreaming sha and happen to wake up in the end!

Emem Isong is a woman I believe.. These movies were shot in like 2003 so I heard and we are in 2006.. and there is no Part III yet

Peculiar, it seems you know what I'm talking about? A woman got swindled by two brothers got thrown out of her matrimonial house because of her husband indecision, meanwhile the man is even sterile, got shot at the end with full term pregnancy. Unless someone tell me she is an orphan or dropped down from the sky.

Even if all the cast is back for 3rd part, if they dont show us her family then the story is inadequate.

3 of them has 2 names each. I guess since the xters wasnt that many, it wont be a bad idea to spread names on little xters.

Hubs.. maybe you should just produce the movie.. I am just irri that it ended so abruptly.. .They have given me another one called Games women Play.. by the same writer.. Emem Isong.. I want to see how this one will pan out.. they gave me VHS so it should be easy to fast forward

pls when is part 3 coming out??? i 'm just curious, i wanna know who died and who lived in the end.

    i guess i'll give it a 6\10 though

THe movie was not what it was hyped up to be. Stella overacts on almost every occasion nowadays and how many times is she going to be paired w/ RMD. When I see stella in a movie is like when I see Chiege Alisiwe or whatever her name is. I get bored and I shut if off quickly. She just dramatizes it too much especially her crying and yelling scenes. The movie was not all that. I think its Emem Isong's films, Games Women Play (which I only watched because Omot and Gene were acting together), Private Sin (this movie was a yawner), Emotional Crack (the lesbian thing was the only thing that spiced it up) and some others. THis lady's storyline is good but she messes up somewhere in between the story. Her movie's aint all that great, if you ask me.
