dat her ass was just gettin in d way or rather in my eye...she can pull off a young gal role sumtimes tho.
i dnt even knw wot 2 say again sha...but dat ass sha...omg
who are u guys talking about
I don't get the competition at all - was it a lip synching competition or were they all supposed to be able to sing and dance? It doesn't even really matter because they failed on both accounts. How am I supposed to take this seriously when they have a girl singing a dude's song...she is gyrating to "Beautiful" by James Blunt - opens her mouth and I hear James Blunt...then I'm told this is the BEST talent in all of Nigeria competiting for 100G and folks will be getting recording contracts out of it and world wide fame? Couldn't they get real singers to remake the songs then have the "talents" lipsynch to that? I would have believed that quicker than believing Omotola and Nadia as singing sensations when I can distinctly hear Beyonce and Rhianna clearly singing their MOST POPULAR songs. And did they really need ALL those competitors?
And how do I believe a music producer who is always at home...him no get studio? Puffy/Timbaland/Dallas/ScottTorch/Dr.Dre didn't make their millions sleeping in the afternoon...never once did we see this mega producer in a studio, in an office or at a home computer mixing anything. Even my small 22 year old brother who is into music engineering has a mic, mixer board etc at home which rides my nerves because you can't use the computer without him screaming about touching his stuff. This was a cookie cutter Jim Iyke....Jim Iyke as he is in most movies - this is Jim Iyke from Boy's Cot except he has a legit business.
I didn't know energy drinks could kill someone...extra animated, yes...extra gittery from all the caffeine, sure but fainting spells and what not...okay, o... no wonder I don't drink them. I need to go tell my aunt who gave up beer for Power Horse to quit pronto!
Na wa for dis movie o...
sorry, i couldn't resist
yeah, i also thought the same ... in the name of being versatile shouldn't make an artist accept any script thrown on their laps .... perhaps they wanted to draw more attention to the movie ... but with jim and nadia they would have still pulled it ........ That role should have being truly auditioned for a new talent ..... Mercy johnson might have being ok... but i also fear her voice would betray her ...
which voice are you talking about, we didnt hear any of their voices, any way MERCY did that in DONT WANT TO BE A PLAYER
THERE ARE ONLY TWO ACTRESSES WITH THE BEST VOICES IN NOLLYWOOD .STELLA AND BIMBO THATS IS :mrstraetz
I also had problems with the stage they used for the mega competition. I think it should have been better decorated and located in a more exclusive area
so... it IS garbage, after all?
i have to admit that these comments are pretty funny and kinda make me want to check it out... especially all the anxiety about Omotola's ever-expanding buttocks!
has anyone in the UK watched this film? I haven't seen it anywhere!
Chibuzo! Lol. Now I am sure you are a guy.
So is Beyonce still the President's daughter or what?
yep I watched it online, dnt fink it has been circulated round the uk yet
I think kate Henshaw and genevive can also pull off that rihnna role well coz as far as i know kat is a really gud singer.
It is well.
Na lie!!!! Joi!!!! Na u be dis? I miss u teh teh o! :D
Now I saw this movie and all I can ask is why...why did Omotola get involved with this kind of nonsense...and what were the producers and writers thinking about to even start a project like this lol..:eyes
Missed you too! How now?
I saw this movie yesterday and I was shocked and then unshocked and then shocked again. The storyline was not too bad for a nollywood movie but gosh I can't even call it karaoke. It was more like amateur karaoke. Now even if you do not want to see this movie, please watch it for the girl who did the Shakira song in the competition. I had to put Clear Eyes in my eyes and rewind just to make sure that I was seeing what I was seeing.
