MUGANZI of Uganda(My main dawg and leader of the KFC of BBN) had this to say!
Sweet, thx Muganzi for being part of RFC for life!smokin:
Amamellow, yep, Our boy won!Missed ya on the BBA forum, join us there, we still celebrating girlgrinning:
Ama, the so called "rape" has now been dubbed "Fingergate", just 4 HMs got so drunk and misbehaved 1 saturday, only for some twits to turn round and say Ofu was assaulted by RIchard. If it was Meryl or Lerato they would have said the opossite. Its all water under the bridge, wont hold water in any court of law and I doubt Ofu would like to refresh our memories.Make she go house go chill!smokin:
I wish them all luck even though Ofunneka didnt win, she is my winner and i love her so much and i know she would do so well...good luck to all the housemate and i miss Bb, its all a game.
@bolded: Why shouldn't they comment? They should comment away to their hearts' content. The place IS a discussion forum afterall. But I understand what you are saying, afterall BBUK and indeed one or two other countries' BB have had their own fair share of scandalous happenings, albeit not as 'grand' as the one in current contention, but scandalous all the same as some people rightly pointed out on the thread in the link I posted.
WHy should they discuss events they did not have the privy to watch themselves and make comment, based on one person's skewered view?SOmeone analysed the events of that saturday to her own interpretation and spread it all over the internet and in faraway BBUK they are commenting? Nah only DSTV viewers who watched the sow can debate this.
ANy all water under the bride, RICHARD ROCKSsmokin:
By that token then, a lot of discussion forums would become extinct if people only debated what they personally witnessed or information they were personally privy to.
How many times have people debated on here and many internet forums around the world on things they absolutely have no clue about but base their heated debates on some half-baked report or a reporter's sometimes fictional account of events?
Anyway, as you say, it's all water under the bridge and I personally couldn't care less about the whole shebang to be honest. Don't even know how on earth I got myself involved in the thing sef! I must have had some rare spare time on my hands at the time.
Anyway, no probs.
Tiron, the topic of discussion isnt just about some story..its a serious matter being peddled here...that of sexual assualt by one HM on another, so it isnt your everyday "Boy disses girl, man beats wife" sort of topic. I always advise caution in such matters, especially where there are legal conotations in some allegations, and on that basis only the viewers on the continent can give some assertions on what went down, do you understand where I am coming from?
My main point from the beginning is simple:
I will hold no value to what anybody on a BBUK website has to say on the matter since they werent watching and arent privy to all the facts, so they may discuss all they want, freedom of speech remains, all I'm doing is merely offering a disclaimer to any views expressed there for reasons I've already stated.
Its all good

House Bans Big Brother Africa Programme
House of Representatives yesterday ordered the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC), to discontinue the airing of any clip or debate on Big Brother Africa (BBA).
The programme, a reality TV show, ended last Sunday with a Nigerian girl, Offuneka Molokwu coming second.
House Committee on Information and National Orientation handed down the order after a meeting with the Director General of NBC, Mr Yomi Bolarinwa. Bolarinwa told the committee that the commission drew the attention of the management of MultiChoice to the nudity being shown on air.
Multichoice is the cable company that beamed the show live to subscribers in Nigeria and other parts of the globe.
He said the commission invited MultiChoice on two occasions when it observed that the company was contravening the laws guiding broadcasting in the country.
Chairman of the committee, Honourable Dino David Melaye, said that even though, the show has ended, the House was against showing the clips of the nudity displayed.
which he noted was not in consonant with African cultures and values.
“We will not tolerate a foreign company to abuse and insult the sensibility of our people. What was showed on the BBA was an insult on the image of Africa . This is why we ordered NBC, who regulate what goes on air to stop hence with any serialization, analysis or clips of the BBA.
“We condemned in totality, what happened on October 27thwhen a Nigerian was abused in the glare of the public. It is against the code of NBC and we have told the commission to discontinue any broadcast that has to do with BBA, “Dino said.
In view of the recklessness of the broadcasting outfit, he said that the National Assembly would determine the future of Multichoice in Nigeria , adding that it was incumbent on every nation to protect the choice and values of the people.
The live cast of inmates having sex had been condemned by viewers, while the emergence of a married man as the winner of the show equally attracted negative comments
