small trick: if you blend the beans for one or two or five seconds after soaking for a while, and rub the beans together the skin should fall right off.

if you soak it for a while, preferably overnight, and put in blender with some water for a few seconds and wash the beans, the skin comes off.
I don't know if im explaining that well enough.

short cut is: buy the beans flour from the african stores.\

easier way is to use the 'GRATE' option on your blender and grate the DRY BEANS in short seconds (don't make into powder)...just crack it up, then SOAK the broken beans in water and see how the skin floats to the top.....I make moi moi all the time, and this I've timed to be the fastest way, and the one that you won't lose beans or the white juices. Bon Apetite

My short cut to suya is to coat it with any flavour i want. some african stores sell the 'Suya Mix'......
arrange the flavored meat on a stick (separated by onion and bell pepper rings)....and grill IN a grill machine (not open grill, but the one that looks like a toaster/oven)...or better yet, use BROIL on your conventional oven, just remember to turn sides....
if you want the kilishi-type suya, then allow the suya to dry up a bit more, makes for good snacks....

Yeah, just soak for 20 mins or so, then blend (grate) for 5 to 10 seconds, and wash.
grating before soaking, still dry works better IMHO, and from experience. When the beans is soaked, notice it is really hard NOT to squash it? And the more you squash, the more beans juice you lose......but when dry, the blender is only tearing the hard beans....and when you soak it, the skins floats out....ry it, and see which is easier....

Thanks guys. Khami actually sent me a PM and I think his will work for me. I have tried the blending but I always used room temp water. Also if it does not come out in the blender then I cannot get it clean. My palms just do not know how to remove the skin. I don't care how hard I wash. E no dey work. I will try the new twist Khami suggested and let you guys know how it came out.
