Ok folks, lay 'em on me.
what colours do you pair together? I've been trying to get out of my safe zone. (although my sister raises her eyebrows when i tell her of some of my combos. hahahahaha)

today i'm wearing a grey sweater dress with teal tights and brown knee high boots.

i didn't think it would work but i think it does.

Brown and teal work well together. I would never have thought of the combination but those three colors can work. What's the color of your purse????

LOL. I don't do tights though I have been flirting with the idea of above the knee high socks (don't know what they are called) but still too chicken to try then. Even if I try I will start with black first. Orange ke? Try it first and tell me what people said LMAO. We are about the same complexion so I can pull off the same colors as you

Bwahahahahahahaha.
I wear a lot of skirts, so I have to wear tights during fall and winter. Ive worn the orange tights with a brown skirt that had some orange in it. I wanted something creative and different to pair them with though.

Lmao at what people said. Don't know, nobody said anything to my face.hahahahaha.

this is an interesting colour combo, would not have thought to pair yellow shoes with the dress.

Rita Dominic on WOW Magazine - African Movie Stars Photos
Neither should Rita. I think it breaks the flow of the dress with her long beautiful legs, when doing color blocks like that, with a puffed out or swing dress that breaks above the knee, the shoes should always pull the legs with it, meaning, the shoes should've matched one of the colors of the dress for an elongated look or she should have gone nude with the shoes, that way, her legs keep the oneness with the dress.

But it's Rita, she tries and she's adventureous , gotta love that about her.

I've been feeling Emerald and Green lately, I have this Orange Tunic with a matching sewn in tank, and I wore it with an Emerald Green pencil skirt, with mocha suede ankle boots, It was like I channeled a moderate Denise Huxtable. I looked good!!!

i don't know if i like the dress on her though, but what do i know? i still have to call my sister while i'm in the store trying on dresses and send her pictures for a thumbs up/thumbs down. bwahhhahaha. i'm such a mess.

i'm sure you looked good @ highlighted grinning:
although Denise Huxtable was a little questionable towards the end there.

KPOM. I was saying this when they decided that color blocking was a new trend. I remember when my Ghanaian friend used to tease me that Nigerians will wear purple shoes and yellow headties. Now everyone one "color blocking". Even worse is peplum. Peplum was all the rage in Nigeria ................................................................................... in 1982 LMAO. Now they have repackaged it and they will not let us hear again
