    Also check out 'Zahrah the Windseeker' Nnedi Okoroafor, if you like sci-fi/fantasy told from an African perspective.

    I've had Zahrah the Windseeker in my bookpile for the past few years (I think we published that one at my old job) but I've not gotten around to reading it... I should take a look at it soon.
