Hmmm...

hbeat:hbeat:hbeat:hbeat:Interesting, just sitting back and reading these posts - I really like the name Terkuma - though here's the motivation behind the name Vivica. the character is rich, but not snobbish, seemingly naive, but even then she is (as someone described here) 'almost pure'. In other words she has to be 'butty'

Vivica just struck me as an interesting enough name, I've only met two Vivica's in my entire life and I assume that the instant someone comes up to you with that name, the first thing you think is 'private school' - here's an interesting aside - the character used to be named 'Chantelle' - even now I wonder why I changed it - LOL

But based on that criteria, you can see why Terkuma calls to me - it seems unique enough - though what's the short form for that? 'Terk'? wait 'Uma' is not that bad...

As for my idea being stolen - LOL - like someone said, they can do it - but not like me. Though you do realize that no idea is original

Back at film school someone pointed me at ROADTRIP - i refused to watch it then so that I wouldn't plaigerize cos he knew I was already writing DB. I've even been alerted to two others OVERNIGHT EXPRESS and another whose title I cant remember right now

As always, my most sincere thanks for all the comments and posts so far. God bless!

Victor Sanchez Aghahowa

P.S

Naija! Una no dey slack! I post synopsis for morning, I come back come see a whole new DB thread for evening. I HAIL O!!!! LOL...

Thanks for all the support!

Interesting script VSA. It really saddens me to watch Naija films and 99.9% of the characters names are English. We have so many indigenous names that you can choose from please do your homework.

I know you have heard of VIVICA FOX sweat:

Ah, well, like I said, I looove your attitude. I think we have said it many times and we cannot stop saying it - these movies are the gateway to home for those of us in diaspora. We cannot be showing people our culture with names like Vivica. I am sure you can find many "assorted" (thats another slang for ajebutter) names that are indigenous. Unless of course you think they are mutually exclusive, and then that is another problem altogether.

Wait a minute - you think of the local girl with a local name, but the sophisticated girl with a foreign name? C'mon men! Please change the name - Fatima, Folashade, Uche -----I don't care what the name is or where its from, lets start celebrating what is ours. Pretty pleasssse?

Thanks for listening. You are a good man,. :mrstraetz

My suggestion for a tiltle:

SHOOT! SEND! DELETE!
(There should be a strke through across the 'SEND!'. hope this helps.
Mr Aghaghowa, I have some ideas about a script. How do I contact u? Loved your flow in LTAS, perhaps u can do justice to some of my ideas.
P.S I wish RMD or Pete's son in the movie Genny played a blind girl had played Fred Amata's role. I was not feeling Fred at all. And Bimbo Akintola would have been better in Ibinabo's role. But i still enjoyed the movie.

Hey people, keep your fingers crossed. Am on my way to another meeting with yet another prospective producer for Deleting Bisi. The trip? This is looking like the best offer yet, and so I go off to this meeting with high hopes, maybe its finally time to stop talking about this movie and start making the damn thing! Lol!pray for me if you will, I would appreciate that...
