The movie was alright but it was too melodramatic. But I think that's pretty much Bollywood's problem - too long and too much melodrama. Even Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (one of my fav Bollywood movies) went into too much crying towards the end. But I forgive Karan - it was his first attempt. As for Kaal, I think I might see it - but I must see Dhoom first, sha.

As per their action movies, I recently saw Elaan and earlier Asambhav and I must say that they are definitely improving. I wonder when Naija will be able to make a true action movie.

And speaking of Priyanka (she was in Asambhav), I hear that Aitraaz and Mujshe Shaadi Karogi are good. At least I know some of the music on MSK rock o. Who's heard "Lai Duppata?" Beautiful song.

And Iya Laje, like you, I've started to learn some of their words like Isqk, visqk, shaadi (commonly used since they mean "love, romance, marriage) and other thing like "matlab", "tum", "pagal" etc etc. It's pretty cool, sha.
Men, I didn't even see this post, but I agree bollywood is improving, and whenever I see Priyanka she just doesn't fit the actress for me sha but maybe cause I've only seen her in Hero. Yeaaaah dawg I learnt some words by listening to their one liners and the subtitles help too, men do you know that I have never bought any Indian CD and I wanna soooo bad, but in time sha. Oh yeah have you seen Dum, I mean the movie was aaiiight but the song "Babuji chalo" was the BOMB, I mean the one at the club or something that the girl was acting all sexy and stuff, men that song was good, it sounded good and everything was WOW. Yeah and I looooove Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and sorry for saying this but do you think Karan Johar acts gay, cause have you seen Dilwale, SRK's friend on the bus and at the part when they were at a party or something and the way he acts sha is kinda fishy, but that aside he's one brilliant son of a ***.

Girl, (I'm a female too :)) I am pretty sure Karan Johan is gay. There was a bonus feature on the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai DVD where he interviewed SRK and Kajol and damn, he has to be gay. But he sure is good... that's why I am interested in seeing Kaal. I haven't seen DUM sha, but when I listened to the song on this page, I recognized it from a video I watched. The funniest part is I think it's a remake - cos I'm sure I've seen the old movie with the original song.

About the Indian conservativeness, I think it's funny that they are also the one who created the Kama Sutra. The irony... :D

I haven't bought any CDs or DVDs but I am pretty sure that I am buying Dil Chahta Hai.

Vince, I haven't seen any of those movies you mentioned but people keep talking about Khakee. Hey, has anyone seen "Murder?" The music is so good that I think I have to see it.

Guuuurl I am luuufffing you today men, I get so excited when I'm talking about this stuff. You are tooo funny when you said Karan was gay, ah ah me too I thought that I was going kuku but I guess I was right. Oh don't you just love SRK and Kajol the are the bestest couple eveeeer, too bad she married that bad teeth but talented mofo and he's married, yo Ajay be scaring me sometimes.lol
I know right about the kamasutra thing, guess that IS the irony of it all, but in "Jism" guuuurl they let it allll out men, John and Bipasha don't care men, shoot. Which one is Kaal, is it a new release or something? Yeah dawg I know all about Smashits.com, one of my friends recommended it to me, but I don't know what's going on these days with them I don't get to see anything anymore. Guuuurl I looooove Dil Chahta Hai, the title song was a killer men, and Aamir and Preity were soooo cute together, yeah and I love Akshaye, he has this sort of gentleness about him, seems like a cool guy sha.

I haven't seen Jism yet, sha... but I saw Bipasha and John in Aeetbar and they have chemisty (even though the script wasn't the best) so I'll look out for that.

For real, Ajay's teeth are so scary and he's generally ugly but I loved him in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam... I was happy that Aish didn't go back to Salman because their (Ajay and Aish) story was more believable and realistic.

Kaal is the new movie by Karan Johar. It has John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Ajay and some other people. Apparently, it's an action movie with no songs.

In DCH, I must say that I loved Akshaye's character the most. He was gentle, sensitive, deep... I don't know, I loved his quiet appeal. Even though he was balding... :D

Oooooh Karan wants to do action movies now, what happened to chase me around the trees :biggrinsa , anywayz people wanna flex their muscles and go broader and wider. And he's even casting John, Vivek, and Ajay, dang wonders shall never end-so no more Sharukh and Kajol and Amitabh and the usual suspects, cool for him sha.

Kai, something was wrong with Dimple's teeth sha. Such a good looking woman shouldn't have a messed up grill like that. The only problem with Dil Chahta Hai was that we were supposed to believe that those 40 year old men were in college. :eyes

I am serious o, check your local library - it's been a long time since I actually paid for a movie (Hollywood or Bollywood). Shebi you dey pay your taxes, make you enjoy am o.

Gurl stp, you are too funny men. Yeah about the 40 year old men in college thing, bollywood does that too much, they need to start casting younger people for the younger roles, and if they wanna still use the middle agers they should mold the script according to reality now. Yeah and they're not all 40.lol
Aamir Khan-pro'ly 40 or about to be, divorced his wife like last year or 2 years ago, uuuummm, 17 years of marriage with kids, o ma se o
Akshaye Khana-like 35 or something, but I know he's young sha, evn though he's balding.lol
Saif Ali Khan-oh he's young, like in early 30's or middle 30's. can ya belive he just divorced his wife too, they even got kids
ma baaaaby Shahrukh is still flenjouring- shoot he 'bout to be 40 men and he still looks fooine as you don't know what. And I pray he'll never divorce his wife in Jesus' name. That woman went through family problem to marry him men.
and Ajay Devgan, he looks all old but I think Shahrukh is older than hi, his eyes are to-die-for men, soooo cute

And y'all this is info from last time I checked on their well-being :cool-smil which was like one and a half years ago.
