The one million copies in sales the producers were claiming is from Naija only. They announced it when it got US distribution. Did you miss the part where I said they used the churches to sell the movie to the congregation because of its religious themes?

I still doubt the number but it's possible because Nigerian churches produce movies too which they sell to the congregation. They report sales in millions as well.
I bought my copy at walmart sef

When Helen Ukpabio was banned by censors board then for releasing a movie with content they didnt approve of, she started selling through her churches and even when censors board later settled with her, she still wasnt ready to explore the real market again, according to her, selling through the churches was better and safer for her and since its her church, she can influence every member of each branch to get a copy. even Dove media movies were sold in redeem churches then, we need a revolution oh. movies should be able to sell that much in the film market just like in church ke, cos u cant sell a movie in church except it is religiously based.
