What is your concern with their image? Did they care about the viewer when they filled their films with useless actresses in return for sexual favours? Did they care about the viewer being assaulted... Name names now... LOL

oh, i agree with you 100% the writing is deplorable and quite unacceptable to me. and not even just the grammar and the spelling either...

but she has made it clear that she has little intention to change that, and she remains employed, so.... whattayagonnado?
Me I don't care! LOL I commend her for be able to stay employed as a JOURNALIST and not even know how to construct a sentence To be quite honest that is quite impressive... a la Britney being a singer... everybody gotta eat right?

Good luck to her but i will still call it like I see it!

Whoever wrote this comes across like an illiterate.
BeauSoul. 70% of Nigerians are Illiterates. The bases of this article is nothing but illiteracy. No offense intended.
1. A gay movie director or producer doesn't have to subject him or herself to the belief that homosexualism is wrong, under whose moral law? This is entertainment industry is not a church or mosque where you are subjected to God's law. Unless there is a law guiding filmmaking in Nigeria that says, you can't make movie if you are gay. As far as I know, nothing in Nigeria or Nollywood says you have to follow a religion practice in order to make movies.

2. If a gay producer or director make movie that the story sucks or wasn't marketable, that means it was because producer is gay? As if straight producers has never made a bad movie that stink in the market.

3. I pray that Nigeria will never experience what happened in Sodom and Gomorah. Sodom and Gomorah generally has groups of men who literally goes around town raping other men. Even if you lock yourself up, there is possibility of them tearing your doors up and do what they want.
Now, if these so called homo producers or directors has started teaming up to rape other innocent men in our beloved Nigeria, then I will say let them get burn in the public or thunder strike them and split their gut out.

Lastly, even if you want to convict the gay producers of their sexual interest, though it is Holy Spirit that convince people of their sins. (John 16:8). What happened to people fornicating, practicing adultery, swindlers, the drunks or wife beaters in the industry? Writing this article is a sin on its own :teu26: But who to judge?

Well, I'm not here as an advocate for any immorality, but before you start jumping the gun, writing ish that will make you look stupid, its rather good you focus on something beneficial to the readers, rather than establishing judgment in gossip for the society.

But like I mentioned, there are quite a few number of illiterates in Nigeria. Therefore, I will not be surprise if some of people are actually taking this article serious and started having sleepless night because some movie makers likes to have sex with someone of the same gender.

And don't get me wrong, Nigerians are very educated. But for most of them people, literacy is still an issue.

I for one did not even know the rumours about the gay producers/directors in Nollywood so that was news to me...

With regards to the literacy issue... you don't expect a journalist to not be able to construct a sentence. A singer... that is fine, an athlete... fine, but someone who works in a business where they WRITE for a living? It is quite funny. The section was called BEHIND THE SCENCE... What kind of nonsense is that? Anyway I'm assuming her readership are loving whatever she is writing so that is the main thing...

Perhaps homosexuality is rampant in the industry who knows? I am always suspicious when a group of people are so DEAD SET AGAINST something to the point where they condemn it, it always makes me think there are other issues. for example Jamaica... everything is "shoot the batty man" "batty man fe dead" etc etc and the place is FULL of homosexuals peaching about putting homosexuals to death... oh the irony...

Yeah i know what she meant. Its just her writing was so bad...she actually wrote movie homosexuals. It's a pity this is happening but sexual harrassment period is something that the guild should seriously look into.

Sad story - when i was auditioning for Grey Focus my front man was told by an actress who was desperate for a role (this is in America) that she will do anything, anything, even go naked, anything we want. 'Awkward' Of course we didn't hire her but it tells you how desperate even these actors/actresses are and a selfish, evil, manipulating person will take easy advantage of that.
Not only that, they make it difficult for genuine talents to get a foot into the door when they refuse to 'take their clothes off' for a role.
