I was introduced to Whole Wheat Flour to make fufu. I do not think it is supposed to be prepared for fufu, but I may be wrong about that? Do you all use it? I feel more comfortable using grounded Quaker oats or farina.
Blend the oatmeal and pour into a pot and stir while it boils and it turn into a perfect mold OR blend oatmeal and pour in a microwave safe bowl and heat it for 5mins and stir it around to mold and is ready to be eaten with your soup.
Thanks! I think I got my fufu down packed now. I use Oat Bran (outer husk) instead of Oatmeal because it has way more fiber. I add a little bit of pounded yam so that it will look smooth. i.e. 3 cups of oat bran and 1 cup of pounded yam; this is how I mix it in the plastic container when I am ready to use it.
