*okwa ya? (another way of saying "shebi?", "right?", "no be so?" e.t.c)

Hi Becky-white, "ukwu nnu" literally means "salty hips" but it is basically a slang for "sweet hips" e.t.c A man who calls a woman "ukwu nnu" is implying that her hips are "sweet" or tantalizing e.t.c
There's another meaning to "ukwu nnu" wey me I don hear. But make we just leave am like that.

Ire is central Igbo, but most part of old Imo-state pronounce Ire, as Urè (the closest I could spell it as my keyboard doesn't have igbo characters).

To use Urè in a sentence: Ure raputara mu Urè gi? U fit do am? ;)
