    laughable!

Haba how can u ever say dt Ini aint a good actress? I ve been reading all d posts in me and my colleagues and been wondering its so eaasy for u lovely ones to throw stones at us. Someone said dt mad ghost movie is a disaster people should avoide, wat really makes it a disaster? Its not easy interpreting a script. Have we ever sat back to wonder wat will happen if all actors decide dey aint gonna act anymore? Nigeria is already sao stressful as it is and these movies interpreted by us helps us still keep some smile on. Let's try to say beautiful tins about our own. XXX Ronnie Dim

My dear Ronnie, some of these movies might make you keep a smile but for some of us, they make us cringe! Yes, some of the opinions offered can be phrased differently but quite frankly, you cannot tell me that it isn't high time the industry offered better products after all this time! Because we keep seeing the same mistakes in movies today that were made back in 1995 and is that fair to the paying public, to keep wasting money on mediocrity? Yes, there has been some improvement but not nearly as much as there could be IF those in the industry didn't feel that they don't have to do it since people watch the film regardless of the crappiness of what's offered.

Hell! yes!..It is easy,...if you have the talent, got good acting training, know what you are doing, and have a good director.

...what will happen if these jokers (with the exception of very few) decide to stop acting? ......There'll be room for truly talented people to take over. Nice try, whomever you are,...calling yourself ronnie dim. Whatevs.

You know most times wen I read posts by peeps I go speechless. We all know d industry needs improvement but we must adopt d attitude of encouraging. It's not in doubt dt movie making is not beans. From writing d story to casting to interpretation to costing to editing. We curse our footballers wen dey miss a goal yet most of us can't kick out a ball. Lets stop throwing stones. It's tym we come together and make our nollywood a better place. You don't ve to know Ronnie Dim but dt changes nothing about d person I am. God bless u all.

Let me personally welcome you to this site as a future moderator - AHEM!!! You see, Nollywood is our own and we will strive to make it better. But in the process some things have to change.

#1. Laziness: this is costing Nollywood millions of dollars -not Naira o, dollars! There is enough laziness to share all around from the producers to the mama put provider.

    #2. Laziness

    #3. Laziness

    #4. Laziness

By now you got my drift. I still enjoy few Nollywood movies, but truth be told, and it pains me to write this, Ghanaian movies, and actors- i must say-, are ahead of the curve (Or maybe I've been fortunate to pick the few good Ghanaian movies but I enjoyed them thoroughly). So far I can only point out five actors in Nollywood that I can highly rate, the rest are just below average to average. But this could be because the good ones just don't want to feature in Nollywood that much because I have seen few good ones on TV. You guys need to work on EVERYTHING..

On the positive side, some directors are trying their best. I saw one Nollywod movie not too long ago and I can tell the director (Mr. Hollywood) has improved. Also I see some new producers/actors are coming into game but rarely get the chance to shine. I mean there is no reason why Omotola, Genny, Ini, Ramsey are still the biggest in Nollywod when Genny herself dethroned lots of people as a youngster. I refuse to believe there is no young talent to take Nollywood by storm. The search continues. I will keep watching but you guys should improve on EVERYTHING abeg!
