KCBabe64: My sentiments exactly! People should do things with a bit of decorum... and not lash out in an unpolished manner. (if acting came to her suddenly, she should make time out to develop interpersonal skills) As an actor, the fans are all you have...whether they choose to believe it or not. As an up and coming actor such as the lady in question, it is way to soon to begin to adopt a "I don't have time for interviews ...see my agent attitude". If the press (in Nigeria) is anything like in the UK then she has a very rough ride ahead of her. I don't know what transpired at the interview nor do I know what calibre of a person she is but being an actor comes with a huge amount of responsibility and pretense ...ever heard the term "smile for the camera".

She works hard she earns her money and that's all there is to it. Everyones level of working hard is significant to them. A great number of us have very demanding jobs and quite rightly would not take kindly to people implying that we shouldn't spend the money as we so wish. She's worked hard so let her do with it as she pleases. It would be unfair to expect perfection as a requirement in anyone, we all strive to be but never accomplish it!

Videoscope: Am certainly a star in my own right...now whether anyone else believes it is another matter ;)

Re: Of course it's fair...that's the price they pay

I think most people forget that actors/actresses etc. might have always been a certain way, but it's because they are famous now that the public notices it. The thing is the public worries to much about folx personal lives. Frankly I don't worry about that. If the actor/actress is good etc. then I judge on that. Outside of the movies i'm watching them in I don't need to know about their personal lives cause it's not my business.

It's going to be hard to try to show themselves in a positive light all the time for folx the don't know. For one thign the media is always going to get the bad no matter what. A lot of famous people behave like they did before they were famous. I often asked myself in the past is it that they are acting bad and need to stop it to make me happy, or is it they are famous, rich etc. and I am not. Maybe they are humble and it's the viewers that are the ones taking things overboard. We as well need to learn that when someone is out with family they are trying to spend time with their family, when they ask for no pictures don't get up in their faces and take pictures anyway or start video recording them. We as fans have to show respect as well.

It doesn't matter if a rumor is true or not. The point is that's the person's business not ours.

Re: Re: Please her a break!

She may have seemed rude, but I have to honestly say that if that guy had asked me the same guestion I would do the same as she did. He was just as rude or can we say tactless for asking the guestion and implying the way he did. I would have gone off on homedude. First of all it was a stupid question anyway and believe me if someone asks me a dumb question I do go off. Second he implied that a man bought it for her in a tacky way like she couldn't pay for the jeep herself. So I'm sorry, but I don't feel bad for the interviewer cause someone should have taught him better than that. If he didn't know any better than that he deserved it. If he was embarrased good at least he learned something. Well hopefully he learned something.

We are all human beings and we all have the same feelings.

For those that think actors/actresses are snob, i understand the way you feel, as buky have said, we don't expect them to reply all the messages they get from everyone. the one advice i will give is that be happy that you are among those priviledge to e-mail a actor/actress.

And for the celebraties, the best thing they can do is that if they know they can't reply everyone that write them then they should not put a guestbook on their website. And if they think they want to, then they should at least find maybe a day in every week they know they are not busy and at least reply ten people. That is what i do when i know i have a lot of people signing my guestbook.
