Atlakos, glad to know KF is also on ur top list. For me KF just had 'MAGIC'. You watch it and there's this smile on your face. When Genny and RMD first met, their flow... the story was more real...I don't know what it is..difficult to describe but you felt love in the air. You watch the movie and if u're already in love, it brings a smile to ur face and if not, you just want to fall in love kia kia to share their magic... give up lol! can't describe it

LTAS lost its magic for me when Fred Amata casted himself as the leading actor knowing full well he was not an actor. They took a huge chance with the Genny/Yemi pairing and it paid off.

Genny/RMD will always be the number couple for me because they have a strong chemistry that allows the audience to feel their pulse. They equally act well when paired with others but theirs is something else.

I need to re-watch KF today.

That is excellent to know. The old adage still holds sway,"A good, well delivered story will always sell itself".
    This gives hope....grinning:

I finally got to see this movie days back and I think I liked it.It's an okay story and the plot was fairly good although not very exceptional.Genevieve did her thing brilliantly well as she always does. Its really amazing how she gets submerged in a script/role and deliver it beautifully.Fred for me is a better director than an actor.Yemi Blaq was wonderful and I particularly like that "I dey feel you to pieces" line.Ibinabo was okay and Elvina just lit up the screen anytime she appeared!

Una thank you for this one

    Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Very well done, now this is one all my non African friends will be seeing and I get to translate that highly charged, very dramatically uttered pidgin to boot...

It was not perfect, but it was highly entertaining and I loved that they sounded like adults the entire time.

    *** SPOILERS***
Yemi and Genny had such amazing palpable chemistry between them, that one wonders at the choice she finally made, but at least that can be logically forgiven and explained. Afterall one can't compare 4 years versus just met.

Wish someone else had played Fred's part though. But Genny did a good job of making me believe that she was actually torn between them... Genny and Yemi carried the movie for me, lots of body language and eye speak. I also loved Eucharia (sp) and Joke's characters.

    Kudos and well done.

All i can say is LOL LMAO I am about to burst yall tripping on the real.
Abeg yall lets face it that story even though is simple was unpredictable even me sef that nitpicks at every lil thing and tries to think like that director sef enjoyed it, it was refreshing to see a movie that parallels Keeping Faith in its simplicity of a romantic comedy stylish thing. I enjoyed it jor and Elvina Ibru to me did it cos comon now yall know you have one crazy friend in your life that is just a burst of sunshine and loud as heck. shoot i am that person at times.
Yemi was a hottie there chei fine boi no pimples he delivered his lines well and the chemistry btwn him and genny was there abeg just see the way he was looking at her. abeg Yemi needs to be looking at me like that 23/7/365 the other 1 hr will be to eat cos bigm gotsa eat. ya feel me.
Genny as always great job cant say much there she did her thing
Ibinabo was a lil too docile for me ah this is ur sister keh she should have put more emotion to her words than just spilling her lines.
Fred this one ehnnnnn he needs to stay behind the camera sha i guess he didnt want to have to pay another actor so he is like oya make i enter and chop that money inside my belle lol

Overall it was a feelgood movie and cried at the end sha when yemi xter pointed to genny xter that she worte fred xter name on the book she gave to him. Chei love good o

    Finally saw this flick

Nothing more for me to add in favour of this flick outside what has been said by other members, other than to say that "THIS IS ADVANCE NOLLYWOOD",period.By far and away the best production to come out of the nolly project/ecobank thing.
So when are we going to see something as good,or hopefully, better? In another 3 years?Hope not.
Nollywood audience need more of such quality flicks on the regular, please.grinning:
