LOL. How many ways will she tell you that there is no trick? I think it is one of those things that after a while you get used to the new taste. If you cut out rice completely for two weeks you will realize that you do not crave it anymore. Maybe it is the same situation here. It is now the new normal for her tastebuds. I'm I right Sugarmom?????/
My dearest Sis...you're right oh..Ms skinny is looking for some magic trick lol
It's like the first time I tasted diet coke I spat it out...urggh...it took some getting used to it but I haven't drank any regular soda for over 14 years and the few times my kids have given me coke or something to try...it tasted nasty...I couldn't even swallow it.
Meanwhile the diet coke that I was almost addicted to....now that I have stopped ..I can't believe it
I guess for me, it's just about acquiring the taste...I had practically given up rice entirely for the past few years before I discovered how yummy brown rice actually is...

I weighed myself today and there is an improvement. I am no longer going to buy clothes anymore. My size 8s are starting to be loose and I paid $22 a piece to have two pants taken in. My feet are also now 1/2 a size smaller.

I took a group pilates class two days ago and here is how it went. Wait one second while I rotflmao.

I was the first to get to class. The instructor was already there so we started a conversation. When the other people started to arrive I was happy. They were all in shape. basically the body type I am going for which is lean and fit. I was so impressed by their bodies that I did not even realize that these women were all at least 15 to 30 years older than me. Then the wahala started o. It was time to start doing the moves. Look at these women maintainign poses and HOLDING the poses while your girl here was shaking like water leaf. I was like na lie. I will not run out of this class. I stayed for the full hour but at a point I thought I had died and gone to hell. The woman right in from of me was smiling through the whole thing. I cannot lie I called her a bitch in my head. After class was over she said something to me I just told her I need to take a quick nap. I just laid there on the mat. I am still in pain today but I was about to pop in an old pilates dvd I had just to practice some of these moves because I am definitely going back to that class on monday. I am just wondering that if I do it I might injure the muscle and not be able to keep up with the program. It's been two days now since the class and my right side hurts. My upper abs hurt even when I laugh. I really need this sort of excercise because I am not really a Zumba or freestyle kind of girl o. I need an instructor and a trainer. Also I have a one hour session with a trainer in about two weeks so I will run all my goals by him to see what he suggests.

Buwahhhaaa!!! That means you did it right, it can be very relaxing if done properly. I have gone straight to sleep after a yoga class many times, even without showering, sometimes in the car, and if I do it from exercise TV, I'd doze off on the mat.

Hahaha Sifu, this was funny and inspiring at the same time. Keep going back and before you know it, the pain will be gone.
I went once to a pilates class and after the first 15mins, i carried my back and walked out ohhh. Zumba is more of my thing an any other dance class i can find.

If I had the balls I would do just yoga but as easy as it looks you have to have a pretty strong body to handle that

I will keep going and even do one on one pilates classes sooner that later so I can understand the breathing and positioning better. It is obvious that I have to strengthen my core. If nothing else to teach those women that I am not a quitter. One of them made a comment about how parking was such a problem and that she gives all the new years resolution making people until the second week of february so she can start getting a better parking space. Mscheew with her skinny yansh. I will still be here and will graduate before her LOL

My friend, yoga is tough, but great. I don't even know the last time I went to massage envy, I don't have a membership anymore. Anytime I have a crick on my body, I just yoga it out, unless, I hadn't been doing yoga for a minute, then I do pilates a few times to get me ready for yoga, LOL. Yoga, though, is great, for those with trained muscles and very strong core.

Reward yourself with a nice outfit Jo, it's not easy
Maybe I should put that brownie with the white chocolate + cream cheese + whipped topping filler I made and been dreaming of, back in the fridge so I can follow y'all to look good.

I was in a daze....so I can't even tell you if they did..
I carefully picked up my mat and drove straight to Target to get a yoga DVD, determined that I will learn the poses and show them next time...
Well.....it's been quite a while and there's been no next time...I worked out to the DVD a couple of times and men....forget it...The DVD has taken a worthy position beside my antique DVDs....if anyone wants..I will be glad to donate mine..
