It belongs to the "flop alert" list. I had to throw it in the trash after watching. It's that bad. You would see for yourself.

Even that flick isn't that good,in my opinion.Overrated mediocrity.

Compared to so many trashes that has come out this year, its good. U dont have to like it since i dont like some flicks u consider good sometimes. Its all about opinion, and majority ticks.

Isn't that what most Nollywood movies are, anyway? I mean even "Ultimate Risk" which you recommended was nothing to write home about.

I don't expect things to change when the new 2007 homvies featuring the likes of Genny,Omotola,SDA come out early next year. After all, this is Nollywood. Our Nollywood.:indif

"Ultimate Risk" has a better plot than "Wrong Woman" in my opinion, but it is a matter of individual taste that points us to which one is more crappier than the other. You're right, though, the mediocre level of nolly flicks persists further, and that is why i hardly recommend any flick nowadays.

This is serious, your interest for naija movies these days na waya oh. :)
Just saw this .....Ive always had an interest ..my home is overflowing with them ...infact I have started buying those big - big CD holders to store them and throw out the packets !!!

I guess I wasnt submitting my input on these review threads like I should....... which was kind of selfish ..because I would come and read the good reviews prior to ordering my movies !

Okay make i begin with my own side of the story....

I do not want to give too much away of the story but the thing is that I guess I did not want it THAT bad like others complaind because I hadn't watched any naija movie in a long time!

Anyways the storyline goes like this:
Desmond Elliot married Ini Edo(forgot the xter name jare) and Ini Edo invests into Desmond's company. He then meets Mercy Johnson and the whole story goes up and down.

Now let me begin to break it down into different pieces of the story AND the performance of the actors:

The storyline itself (abeg make una no rain abuses on me oh) has major K-legs which gives someone a lot of question marks. First of all the story had a solid (solid in the sense of compared of other naija flicks) base. Along the line a lot of question started raising. Why did Ini Edo want her husband dead all of a sudden? How did she know that Mercy Johnson was the one after her life? What was that yeye conclusion at the end of the movie and how come Desmond's friend and co-owner of the company was suddenly into the whole complot as well. Where did those girls come from that all of a sudden passed info on to Ini Edo's husband and him cheating on her. Where did all these xter pop out. No proper introduciton of the xter Ini was playing. She was just there, doing nothing and coming from no where. At least Desmond had a job!
Where did Desmond get so much time to hang out with Mercy Johnson. And where did Mercy Johnson meet her bad boyfriend? How come he had those underground connections and where did this girl he shagged get from? What's up with the whole bad story with dem guns...infact there are too many questions and I need to stop before giving out the whole story! And now to ask where did they get that story from, in short where did they steal it from cos it has this small flip of american oshisco in mixed some bad naija intensions!

Performance:
Mercy Johnson: This is now the second time am seeing this curvy young lady in a flick, still I must say she would probably be better of as a model or whatever...maybe moderator or something! I think, well I do believe that her acting was very poor, her xter was not properly introduced it was just like ...poof here I am and now look at me thing. Of course this lady has a very nice body (wink wink Egbon vince) and I liked the braids she had in the flick, all other hairstyles were trash! The make up was bad and I think they need to sharpen up in their game! AND she needs to take care of her skin. This might sound somehow to some people but the thing is that as an actress you simply need to look good because people look at ya! I don't think that she is Nigerian too or maybe she is, her accent just sounds non-nigerian to me(pardon my ignorance). It does not even matter that much but anyways. That's my 2 cent to her moving on to

Desmond Elliot: Now this guy was sweating soo much troughout the movie, that I thought either NEPA is really abusing their power or the AC simply did not work or was not ready to cooperate with them! To his acting, nothing that shook me off my feet. It was quite boring to watch him act and abeg plssss bro shave! you look so much better without all this bia bia! Ehmm what else yeah the same ol same ol thnig. I guess Egbon needs to chill a bit and probably take more serious roles cos this one is something else...moving on to

Ini Edo...now her xter was more than boring, she acted very lame as if it is just ONE OF THOSE roles she gets to get her head over the water. Very broing, her xter was just there, nagging up and down, being just there coming from no where and doing nothing!

This were the xters that were actually most seeing in the flick...the guy that played the co-worker or partner of Desmond Eliot was just there too, nothing much to be told about the. Was just average but nothing for me to shout about!

Rating: 3.5/10 (na vince rating i de give so!)

3.5/10 is too generous... I would give it an absolute "F."
