On my way with my long ngaji
ngaji = spoon
I've had my copy for about a week now. School work no gree me. I should settle down to it tomorrow or weekend. Also got "Okon Lagos". Both were complimentary copies from the producer.
Hmmmm when is it going to pick up?
Are you serious and how far into the movie are you?
My sister...I have finished oh and now I have 3 copies courtesy of you ....lol...Whose birthday is next a beg???
Good news Ramsey Noah is a dude and a half ... Looks hmmmm obvious he has been working out...that's what kept me watching ...Yep and I think he was at his best acting wise
I am a die hard Uche Jumbo fan ...don't know what she gave me to eat...but the part you see in the trailer add a few more mins and that's all of her we get to see..Loved her in it though
Storyline quite good too...But execution well..
I am settling down to jealous husband this evening...
crappy movie!!!! I'm begining to think that Desmond is a crappy director and maybe everybody sould not be making movies. I dont know about all these new entrants in movie making, and royal arts academy is falling my hand big time. When are they going to showcase the graduates from their school in lead roles and stop all these recycling of same actors or are all there students so bad they cant even give them lead roles in their own movies? i think they are doing same thing they accused the igbo marketers of years back. This crappy movie is like another crappy movie called nollywood hustler.
oloje thanks for echoeing my opinion on some of ur thoughts,i was saying the same thing here some time ago that desmond is not that good a director(maybe i din't say it outrightly but that was exactly my thoughts)the same goes to lancelot oduwa imasuen(very well overated),there movies happen to be good(not that good even at that) because the work with good writers and good producers which exenorates their short comings in directing, give them an average script with an average producer and they will come up with a less fantastic product, i was saying it here that emem should have used better directors like jeta, izu, kunle etc to direct her upcoming movie i will take my chances but i guess she is still sunk in mediocrity to do that even after saying she wants to do world class movies,no doubt desmond might do a good job on the movie but a better director like the ones i mentioned would have been ten times better, from the preview that was shown on utube of i will take my chances, the beauty of that movie is as a result of the professional crew emem had to bring from abroad, for those who will doubt, let me ask u, how come his other upcoming movies like IN THE CUPBOARD and KISS AND TELL don't have that same quality feel to it like it does with I WILL TAKE MY CHANCES.
have you seen this one though? arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggg! serious crappology. Opelope Ramsey Noah, the thing would have been a snoozefest.
no i haven't seen it yet but i plan to,the amusing thing is the fact that on a review blog called nollywoodreinvented.blogspot.com it gave the movie a rating of 9.75 out 0f ten, and to add pepper to injury it gave the movie a 5 out of 5 in the directing/editing section.
CRAP ALERT!This movie was total crap. I spent my had earned 5 bucks on this mess. Nse Etim, ehhhhhhhhhh e get as e bi. Her emotions are becoming too predictable. Her timing was off in this one. The only scenes I enjoyed in this movie were the scenes between Ini and Uche. Dessy needs to go and take a course on directing, cause he ain't got it at all.
SuperMom, fab7,oloje and elisawwf007 No need opening the movie. Will send it back or sell it to someone else
Haba my people! The movie still holds and deserves a lil more credit. In my opinion, the concept was great, the story was somewhat weak. Easy to predict (that's what most of our movies suffer). A little twist could've been: SPOILER ALERT: Highlight the following text if you don't mind the following spoiler... Nse (Dr Dammy) could've dug into this patient's past and found out he was engaged, that should've lead her to give him up reluctantly. Ramsey should've reunited with Ini (Halle), maybe should've had a bitter marriage (they could've milked this period to stretch it into parts), Ramsey then for many reasons that could've been imagined (accident, travel, crime...), crosses paths with a new act (maybe another romance encounter) that would've lead him to Dr Dammy (now with a child and a failed marriage too)...voila! Twists here and there would've made the movie...it was too linear IMHO...
It wasn't too bad..but it wasn't great either. I don dey lose hope for Royal Arts...I'm still waiting for their first masterpiece. One pointer I would like to give the writer of this flick is that when writing a flash back sequence, make sure all the of the scenes of the flashback all happened around the character that's having the flashback, Case in point..when the doctor was going through Banky's journal a lot of the scenes in the flashback sequence had nothing to do with Bankole.....
I guess trailers don't do a good job then...:-/
I enjoyed it...
My Ramsey was Smokingly hot as usual...
@highlight ...true.....same ol same ol .. it reminded me of one Ghanaian movie . .....john and Yvonne okoro acted ......but it was much better than this .. .......nollywood hustler was also very disappointing couldn't go pass disc 1 ........ Like you ....I hate the recycling ....it's now a click thing ....... and I also think Desmond is not ready to take the risk of injecting new faces into his movies.
This movie is a worthless piece of trash...mteeew!
I must say this; The movie was and is still very interesting
I think the movie should be given 70%
God bless you!
I thought I am the only one that tears out my hairs when when they do some flashbacks that are no wayyyyyy close to the POV of the person triggering the flashback!!! It is ridiculous and straight up annoying to flashback into another person's account and POV that you were NOT a part of, haba!!! And that is one of the reasons they end up wit movies wiht parts 6 and 7. Putting in things they got NO business adding and refusing to find shorter and easier ways to tell a story without burning reels! Mteeeew
