BWaahahhahahahaahaaa.............sorry, i had to laugh
My sista, this is more than a laughing matter o...although some aspect of it is laughable. I heard that this guy is ridiculously loaded even though he needs to spend some of that money on taking some English language classes.
The man is so rich he bought her numerous Hermes Birkin bags. This bag is nothing to sneeze at all. Fake version goes for about 6 million Naira. Real Hermes Birkin is going for about $80, 000 to $100,000. See all kinds of links below here:

darn if i know!
did you google her and the assault? i clicked on a few links on google and I was crying with laughter.
it must have a really huge deal for her to have responded via youtube.
(all this transpired in April 2013 so it isn't recent)

Why do people bother to respond to these things? To what end? You can't convince anyone, not with the deluge of misinformation out there... Responding only prolongs the noise. Stay quiet for a few weeks and it will blow away. And if you're indeed assaulting your wife, make Sango peel off ya skin with lightning abeg.

it must have raised quite the furor for them to feel the need to respond. i just don't get it but then again i'm not a "celebrity"

They have to respond o, oga Sola.....otherwise the story or lie or whatever it is would stick subconsciously in the people's mind. Let's just say its happened to someone really close to me in the past. If you are are a celebrity, define yourself or you would be defined...fair or not it don't matter.

I'm really serious, Abiks. They said this guy is really, really loaded. As for the Jamiya thingy or wetin dem call the thing....my friend here say na muslim thingy. Make I just leave that one alone. I no wan trobul.
I mean thinking that

I mean thinking that Mercy Aigbe has multiple Birkins
I honestly think he can afford it. Me I don see serious money with mai on eyes for naija. Just don't ask where the money is coming from...or you lose friends.
i think they are saying that the mercy person has mulitple fake bikini bags
You may be right, TM. They may be fake...or maybe not. Who really knows.......unless you command the woman to give up her bag for authentication. Personally, the only way I would ask a friend if her bag is a knock off or not is if I am ready to end our friendship.

She had to. You know in Nigeria stuff like this can give the guy a bad name. The guy would be going in public and someone would start hurling insults on him. Or Mercy would be going in public and people would start insulting and questioning her about why she's still with the man. It's a serious issue. Mercy herself is a household name in Nigeria in the Television sector and in YMG.

No, they don't have to respond. It comes with the territory. That's the price you have to pay for being famous. But sometimes you just have to ignore, yanno.

gosh, imagine if I decide to respond to every allegation floating about me out there.....that's just impossible.
