As hard as this may sound - I think Mj's death is an eyeopener to all those parents forcing their children right from childhood to become rich and famous. Most of the Jackson kids have one or two problems to deal with and am talking on psychological bases. Some of them even went out of the limelight to regain sanity back. It is very difficult for an adult to get his life and acts together when he does not know anything else than to perform on stage. Okay did MJ have any educational background he could fall back on - please educate me cause I did not hear or ever read anything like that.
He was soo innocent and just used and betrayed by his enviroment.
He was raised to entertain and died as an entertainer.

I believe that the doctor that was with him need to be punished, as in serious punishment. You can't be playing with peoples lives just like that and now claim to say that he wanted it so. That's Mega BULLSHIT! It is quite obvious that MJ had a couple of psychological issues going on so how on earth will he know what is good for him especially on medical terms. It is sad that he is gone. I wished someone could have turned back the time and show MJ what will happen when he keeps on going that track.
Now he is dead and obviously none of us can bring him back to life. But maybe the law will probably check into the health system a bit better and tighten rules on how fast doctors themselves can get access to medication. Especially medication that can lead to such drama

Again my heart goes out to the Jackson.
Rest in Peace Michael.

Ain't this what life's supposed to be about. Fulfilling your destiny till the end of your days? To me the guy lived well and died well. But the human in us being selfish in nature would want to have anything for ever.

I for one never thought M. J. could live to see 50. And that is the gospel truth.

Well our oppinons differ here.
What made you think that he was happy doing what he was doing.
To me, it seemed as if he did not know anything else to do than to just entertain. He was empty on the inside and at the same time a victim of greedy people around him.

We see so often how all those kids that were raised to be entertainers begin to lose it one by one. MJ is just the tragic ending of it.
Britney, Lohan all of them...even Justin Timberlake being addicted to sleeping pills. The business is hard and tough and the sad thing is most of them do not know their boundries. Fact is to me, that he might just have the peace he had been longing for.

You think those that became entertainers of their own volition are not faced with all these? Entertainment is a tasking job, trying to please others when you even please yourself is not a piece of cake.

My take is Michael Jackson sacrificed a lot of things in his life to become relevant to the people that be at the beginning of his career. That relevance later paved way for black music in the world scene. The repercussion of that sacrifice, he paid alone to the benefit of a whole race of people. For that we all loved him, even when we never understood what he did.

Why did it rub me the wrong way to see Joe Jackson at the BET awards laughing like his son did not die a few days ago. Janet was there and she did not show up till the end and could barely even talk. I know people grieve in different ways but he needed to be at home being a rock for his family at this terrible time

That is the reason why am not to eager to involve myself into a discussion with you. As I have said oppions differ. You do not need to agree with me.
As far as I am concerned a 5 year old does not wake up a day and wants become a start and that for the rest of their live.

You think the other way round ....that's okay. But stop giving me the picture as if what am talking is not relevant.

He was there during the whole show? Wow...well I wanted to see the BET awards online but the server crashed and I could not get in. Yeah it was hard for her to even talk, I can imagine....this is really sad!

Joe and Micheal did not get along in real life. Micheal kinda demonized him in the media, talking about all the abuse and all that. They ceased to matter in each other's lives years ago. Old man just keeping it real I guess.

Horrible as it is, at least he is not a hypocrite!

I am so shocked about this!
Is he mourning? Is he just trying to cover up or is he sick?

They are asking him about his son and he is saying that the biggest star in the world died. The man obviously just wants the spot light. My opinion.

@ Funmo Michael still named his first child after his father so you can see that despite Janet and Michael's accusations of abuse he still respected his father to name his first child after him

Wow! I never knew this, sorry if I always sound anti-your-opinions. I wasn't forcing mine on you though.

yes, i also read somewhere that michael's father used to abuse and insult michael that michael has a big nose and he is not handsome. that may account for michael 'inferiority complex' which made him change the shape of his nose through surgery and 'bleached' his skin. the words parents speak to their children can have negative effects on the children.

honestly i just have a funny feeling from the onset that michael was murdered, i cannot explain it. i hope the investigation prove me wrong.
