Horror is one genre I never really got into....but there's one I like called "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil"...the movie makes fun of slasher, "college kids in the woods" type of movies..it's a good watch...
Lol I saw the title and thought mmmm a comedy about Chipmunks chewing on LSD laced nuts!

Blood Will Call II and I'm partially yours...then another book, short or long story(ies) then I'm three-quarterly yours... to be fully yours, it has to be a saga akin to Jeffery Archer's Time Will Tell or Ngugi's Wizard of the Crow or Ken Follet's Fall of The Giants...

So what are you waiting for??? Off you go then!
That was a very good read!!! Meanwhile, I'll be stealing Sola's thunder...muhehehehehehhe :D

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised as I only read Ngugi for Literature back in the day. As for Sola, fear not, he doesn't have any thunder...where is he with his 'love' poems and the like? Probably watching Laurence Olivier in one of his numerous Shakespearean roles for inspiration!.

[or mayhap Alec Guinness...as Fagin *snigger*]

Not yet ?

Have you seen 'It was an accident' and Steve Coogan's 'The Parole Officer' ? They are both quite old( I think they were made a decade ago), but very watchable films.
Haven't seen 'It was an accident'; will look out for it. Did see Parole Officer though...I love Steve Coogan, I loved him in Around the World... give me him anytime above that £$%^&!! - Adam Sandler!!!

I think Steve Coogan and Adam Sandler don't quite fit into the same type of roles/category of actor.

They don't...just my train of thought as I was typing. I was thinking of those comic/quirky/bumbling/make-you-laugh in a I-feel-sorry-for-them way and I thought of Adam Sandler and his 'comedies'... he doesn't do it for me chaa-chaa

Ohhkay...I kinda liked Sandler in the 'Night at the Museum' movies. Some of his stuff I like, some I don't.

That's not very nice:laugh:...

I've never seen Casablanca..it's supposed to be a classic...one of those used as a point of reference in certain modules in Uni and film schools/workshops...again too much hype kills the desire to watch a film for me

Ohhh...I guess I just haven't been feeling that film...No offence to the cast, crew and fans...:D If it was something I really wanted to watch, I'd go and rent it... I haven't seen Casablanca either. I'f love to see it though. I've seen 'Some like it hot' the Marilyn Monroe vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised and liked it.

Not seen Casablanca either... for that module we had an awesome lecturer that didn't give a damn about it either lol. We really liked 'Citizen Kane' though.
