That opening montage makes me salivate. Love love love love it! And the episodes I have seen so far lives up to the expectations painted by the montage. Its gritty, even horrifying at times. Above all, it is human, not like what they did to The Flash by turning it into YA fluff that's so brain dead now... I've only seen 3 episodes, but I love the show. Somebody else try it on Netflix.

Oh, and here's a reviewer's thoughts on it.

Wow, that detective from Law and Order...Playing the boss. Creepy. Great actor. Best role I've seen him in. He's going to clear some awards for this... His transitions! He drips evil! I suspect he's going to become The Kingpin.

Bodies are just falling everywhere on this show, like on GoT. No one is safe. I'm on the final episode of the season and I'm glad Netflix did this instead of regular television.

Okay, that was a satisfying 13 episode watch. The season's finale was intense and ended up with the antagonist and protagonist in their corners, set for another bout in the ring. The setup is done and now the story is set to go anywhere. What they did so beautifully too is how they make the bad guy - Kingpin - also lovable and human. He does very bad things, but he obviously comes from a place of warped love for Hell's Kitchen. Oh, I also love the unsuper-hero way they portray DD. He's just a regular Joe with a few highly developed senses - not a freak show. He's conflicted too and gets hurt badly. And there are some strong ladies in this show, people...solid actors with distinct roles, an unusual thing in a super hero show where ladies are usually nothing but tag alongs. Abeg, somebody watch the show now...

Netflix's Daredevil is fantastic — and unlike anything Marvel has ever done

Now on episode 3... this is darn good! Ta for the thread Oga Sola.

Oh have you seen the new series 'The Messengers'? Just one ep so far and it seems really promising; started a few days ago.
