So because he lost his kids, he must have more? Does he realise the older you are when you have kids, the more likelihood there is of the kids having issues. Folks have been known to live full lives without kids o...

No mind am. Na so Naija men dey talk. So unafraid of modern things.
I can't believe you just said that! Really? How many naija men see themselves as 'REAL' men WITHOUT children?

Sola, isn't it his choice? Yes, the older you are, it is likely that the baby may have some defects....

However, a 49 year old woman just delivered a healthy baby for her daughter. It is currently in the news. Another one that I heard of was 54. Everything is possible. My girlfriend's son has autism and she had him in her twenties.
Thanks for that answer O jare! I have also seen a 25 year old give birth to a baby with defect. Kraa

Sure, but the science and research still proves that the chances and danger rise as you age, so the risk is an element to be factored in nevertheless.

Typical Naija head in the sand arguments. Have you even bothered to research the thing. Or is baby making all a man and his center of gravity are good for? Vasectomy is reversible, just in case you didn't know. And it is such a simple process, especially for those who are done having kids. Your partner does not have to worry about anything ever again, as long as she doesn't go to Baba Bomboy in the next apartment!

most people don't know that it is reversible. and it is relatively a minor surgery compared to what the woman has to go through.
my aunt had her tubes tied and she was in so much pain, she said if she'd know it would be like this, she would have just endured the pills and the side effects.

While I understand your take on this one, science and research are not always 100% correct....oga Sola....its all God's will.

Doctors have been known to tell a woman that she can never have a child again but God has proven them wrong.

Educated Nigerian men do that.... The ones wey book don turn their Ori to mumuheads lol. I have 3 Nigeria brothers (2married to white and 1 to naija woman), the 2 married to white, the ladies are perfectly fine and cool with but the other married to naija woman..... She came up with stupid and unreasonable excuse like "ehen, so you want to start cheating on me and blah blah ish....." I feel like it is alright for men to do that compared to women to go through their own, not 100% safe when trying to reverse it.
