    I just got the Oprah book club selection by Naija's own Uwem Akpan -Say ur one of them ( a collection of 5 short stories)

    The first is called an Exmas feast !!!

    Id like to discuss the book with others ... I paid $14.99 for the book at Barnes and nobles

    I think the BC might work better with sub-forums for genres and sub-genres like Romance, Urban, Political, African-American, African, Nigerian, Sci Fi, Teen, Religious, Folklore, Mythology etc., being primarily organized within two main sections for Fiction & Non-Fiction; just my half cent and a nickel..:tdo9:

    biko go and read "feddie girl" non naija author but the book is about naija boarding school life and it's a really good one, have not put it down since yesterday when it arrived.

    I bought that in June and havent read it yet, but will do so soon hopefully. So many books on my kindle waiting to be read.Work is killing,lol

    Just finished "Blackbird" by Jude Dibia. Brilliant.He's such a good writer.Very simple but fluent prose conveys all the complexity of the xters he created for this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it.grinning:
