Guys, the longer this thread grows, the more awkward to read it becomes. Do start opening threads for specific books, to give them proper attention and attract other potential minds. Thanks.

If we no wan open new threads nko? na by force?

@Kikis no vex jare, you know how it's been. I went to Farafina Publishers event on saturday, I couldn't beleive the number of books out now. There is so much catching up to do. I'm currently reading 'Zahrah the Windseeker, by Nnedi Okoroafor-Mbachu, it's touted as Nigeria's first sci-fi novel. I go try post review later.

BTW, Chimamanda Adichie was at the event and me I didnt hesitate to ask her for my own share (just 10%) of the huge grant she just got, but upon all my rapping the woman no just budge. Some people can be stingy sha :-D

but really it might be better to do as Mr Shola said, i just feel like the reviews are all jumbled together somehow, it might be more interesting if there are different threads for different books.

Yeah, oloje, sounds like a plan. The club's been dead for a while now. Maybe the mods can help with a Sticky folder for Book Reviews somehwere in here, where we can open threads per book for reviews. I lost my energy for a while, but I've read a few good ones over the last year or so..I'm game
