oh it will get worse.i wonder where obama supporters will be when the first bullet will hit his skull.that man shud hve just stayed in his quiet place.america is not ready for the changes this man is preaching.on paperowrk yes but in reality he is digging his grave.

for eg...those gun companies supplying arms to iraqi, they will run out of bizness if obama comes in,u think they r sitting low?

the answer to why those american presidents were murdered is the reason obama will go too.

Your comments make me shudder. So if all were to remain cowards as you suggest, who would ever take the first step?

What is wrong with you women? Can you hear yourselves? So because of potential death threats, nobody should run for president? Didn't someone try to kill Reagan? So no white man should run for president again? I have no understanding of your logic, or your lack of it. I am not even an Obama supporter like that sef, but your words baffle me. Hilary was also for withdrawal from Iraq. Would the gun companies have put a gun in her head too? The man has won. Get with the program!!:fbreath

we all will remember him, for his brilliant speech last night cos thats the only history he made.Hamas has already endorsed and today was Syria. Tomorrow will be Bin laden. America might get into a civil war if he is killed

All u Clinton supporters! You are just like you chief madam. U go yarn the thing finish, then you go say na joke, or na slip of tongue or na discussion. Talk true, u no want the man win general election because your woman did not win. I don't care whether you go for McCain or not o, its your prerogative. But stop bad mouthing the man. He has made history. Be happy for him. Ehn? That is how to be a gracious loser. And who knows, your woman may get her chance later, afterall, Obama's opponent is 73yrs old. Its never too late. So stop all the bad talk. Do not be a sore loser ehn?

    Thanks. :fing33:

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama turned in earnest to the general election and the hunt for a running mate Wednesday, embraced by Democratic leaders who signaled forcefully and sometimes impatiently to Hillary Rodham Clinton that her marathon duel with Obama was over. Clinton kept her silence in public, while supporters made a case for her as Obama's No. s .Obama himself moved to link himself more closely with a young Democratic hero of a half-century ago, picking President Kennedy's daughter Caroline to help him choose a vice president. Shimney una conspiracy don really work. we go enta fasting now

Oprah 'doing the happy dance' over Obama win :460:
    Posted: 08:12 PM ET

Oprah hit the trail for Obama during the primary season.
(CNN) — Oprah Winfrey is ecstatic over Barack Obama’s apparent victory in this year’s Democratic presidential race.

"I'm euphoric, I've been doing the happy dance all day,” she said in a statement released Wednesday I'm so proud of Barack and Michelle and what this means for all of us, the new possibilities for our country.”

The talk show host, who campaigned for Obama in several key early primary states, added: “And if he wants me to, I'm ready to go door to door."

Commentary: Obama nomination gives 'goose bumps' - CNN.com

    By Bishop T.D. Jakes

Editor's note: Bishop T.D. Jakes is founder and senior pastor of The Potter's House of Dallas, Texas, a multiracial, nondenominational church with more than 50 outreach ministries.

"I congratulate Sen. Obama on this historic accomplishment," writes Bishop T.D. Jakes.

1 of 2 (CNN) -- Last night, I like most Americans of all stripes, watched with visible goose bumps as history was made. I sat with my 13-year-old son and looked from the screen to his eyes as Sen. Barack Obama became the first African American in history to lead a U.S. major-party ticket when he claimed the nomination for the Democratic Party for president of the United States.

I congratulate Sen. Obama on this historic accomplishment. I thank him for accepting the torch that was lit by our forefathers and proudly carrying it through the darkness of our struggles, trials and tribulations, bringing light and hope to a new generation, and for facing all those who said "No" and "You can't win," or "It will never happen," and firmly, proudly, defiantly saying, "Yes I can!"

However, what I really hope people take away from that night is that this is not just a victory for African Americans, it is a victory for democracy that proves that our country provides possibilities for all people. It is also a sign that a metamorphosis is in progress. Today we saw that Americans respect experience, but are interested in change. I hope that we can somehow merge the best ideas of our differences and emerge with a president who epitomizes our highest and best ideals. While it remains unclear where we are going, last night proves that we as a people have moved beyond business as usual.

sooooo....i hope that adequate arrangements are being made for the safety of his grandma and other family members in Kenya.

i was listening to a BBC Africa podcast and the journalist was interviewing obama's grandma after his win, and he said journalists had been streaming in and out of her house.

they need to restrict access to her biko, people are crazy.
