REALITY and TRUTH there!
Almost Everyone put there would want to 'wack' first! Sure there are few honest ones, but they get corrupted eventually when they see their mates riding in flashy cars and sending their kids and wives on shopping sprees abroard with Naija Money.

How many of us here would be given a position and not wnat to start wearing ONLY PRADA AND LV bags and shoes overnight?! Let's be real please.

My own is: if you must wack, at least, DO SOMETHING TANGIBLE!!! HABA!!
As long as I am here in yankee, I am guilty as well. So, are a lot of us on this site. And I sure am planning to move back home. I have been saying this from the first day I joined this site! Home is Home! We all need to shut up and go make some difference there with all our Acada and "we too know mentality!"
thats what i plan to do, we got to help our ppl and the generation yet unborn

Any suggestions? Example.. I have aligned with a homeless shelter here called My Sister's place.. hopefully with the work the Miss Nigeria will help out with here, we can propose they open a similar shelter in Nigeria to assist women and children. I cant just waltz into Nigeria.. but with financial power and the backing of some foreign entities under our care, we can make a change little by little and without the thieving govt.. and also with God's help because these things are not easy

i have said it before and I will keep saying it, why is it that the best thing nigerians know how to do is complain, complain, complain, complain....when it comes time to do, everyone go run away. like fela said "mama dey for house, papa dey for house, i no wan die, i no wan quench...." etc. everyone go complain, "WHERE WATER O? WHERE WATER O? how many of you engineers stay for nigeria? how many of you believe that your sweat and blood belong for nigeria? how we go get water when we don't have any engineers in country? "we cry aviation, aviation, aviation?" how many of you read aviation and stay and sweat it out in nigeria? so how dem go get berra plane? If OBJ call u now, now say come nigeria o, be my "minister of health" how many of you go really go and do a GREAT job? no be benefits u go look for first? There's no schools, there are no doctors, there's no electricity? how do u think these things will get there? obasanjo will wake up, snap him fingers and na so e go be? how many Nigerian doctors can you count in New York alone? Everybody go go med school for cheap in naija run come do residency and work in california, what do u think that does for the economy? how many of you take resources out of nigeria and never put anything back in? OBJ is one man and believe it or not, he's not the wizard of Nigeria.

This culture of complaints that we have is not helping anybody. we don't even encourage the people that ARE trying to do something, no matter how little or how incomplete, there ARE some that ARE trying. Please, let's encourage the ones doing well, and keep encouraging questions, keep encouraging a society of inquiry, yes, two plane crashes before someone called an inquiry and grounded planes, but now there's outrage, and people are asking questions, and it can only lead to good and MANY MANY MANY more lives saved. These things happen in any country it's how they deal with it that matters.

Good point !!:fing02:

It's different if someone u love die than if someone u only hear abt dies. It is just our human nature and i am not abt to apologize for that. I loved Pastor Bimbo and Im devastated that she's gone....I didnt feel for Stella Obasanjo as such, but im such OBJ felt for her. Its natural that things are that way. Not wishing u bad, but if u lost someone u loved and admired and respected....u'd react similarly.
That's why I said "Yeah and maybe I am only reacting like this cos her death might not touch me..." - exactly out of that reason! If I have offended you then am sorry, I was not even talking about Stella O. SO I don't know where I indicated that one. All am saying is that voices are getting louder cos someone was involved that you obviously loved(now don't get me wrong here), but maybe her time was up! It could have also happened in the UK or in the US during a car accident!!! Yes maybe I would react the same! But how come no one was complaining that something urgently is needed to be done when the first plane dropped from the sky? Anyways, I guess you might not understand where I am coming from. As I have said before I do not wanna step on anybodies toes! Be well.

Some ppl touch many ppls like more than other ppl, some ppl have just been so great.
the lesson from this is that we should all try to make our mark, Pastor Bimbo devoted her all life in saving God, u no she was on her way to preach in port Harcort. Thats just the way it Bolanle some ppl touch others ppl's life than others. Who knows maybe God took away a really loved one so that we can feel what its like and demand action to be taken

:fing02: am really glad to hear that, the thing is that we can do something, i'm actually planning to focus on the health field, 'cuz currently medical in nigeria is horrible, ppl are dieing day in day-out, i've lost a lot of loved ones to the poor care system in nigeria, its sad.
scholarship is another good thing, awarding scholarships to less priviledge because i believe many of the kids esp in villages could make a difference if they have education.
organizing programs that would help to grow loyal citizens in like primary and secondary school levels, esp to decrease the crime rate in nigeria.
also programs that would help build the spirit of independency, in terms of producing what we need by ourselves, i believe would be beneficial, nigeria currently is nuttin but a consumer nation, its a nation that produces nuttin but consumes everything produced by others, which is gradually deteriolizing our economy in a very drastic speed, we are not developing, the ecomy and all is getting worse day in day out, when is change going to be made?.
