It is high time those lusting after the ‘top-heavy’ actress, Ronke Oshodi Oke, stopped because by this time next week she would have become a Mrs. Sylvester Omogbolahan Anthony. Sylvester Omogbolahan Anthony is a car dealer who runs Wide Motors, an auto company in Lagos.

The lovebirds who have been together for the past nine years parted ways amidst rumour, the kind of rumours usually associated with actresses.

During the break Ronke delivered a baby girl for a man whose identity is not yet public. Sylvester also fathered a girl from another woman but like most love movies we watch in Nigeria, the two lovebirds came together again.

The wedding ceremony which will take place between 23 and 24 of this month will attract the crème de la creme of Nollywood. And the shock for most people is that Ronke will be the first wife of the auto dealer.

The aso ebi chosen for the day is an Ankara against expectation of many for very expensive wear. Explaining the rationale behind her choice, Ronke said she chose the Ankara because the month of January is usually a dry month. “You know people would have spent a lot of money during December. I don’t want to over-burden them with additional expenses.”

Oshodi who will relocate to Surulere area of Lagos immediately after the wedding said marrying her heartthrob is one of the happiest moments of her life. She plans to continue acting and hopes to keep her home against the ‘break-up virus’ affecting actresses. “Acting makes me happy and since he loves me and wants to make me happy, he is willing to let me continue to act,” she told us.

BTW, eventhough I don't speak Yoruba, my favorite YMG movie of all time is "Gbajumo". I still can't stop laughing from watching that flick.
