As preparations towards the hosting of Saidi Balogun’s 46th birthday bash in Ibadan gather momentum, the organiser of the event, TGB media consult revealed during the week that top Nollywood actors and actresses have signified interest to grace the day.

The event, which comes up on the 28th of February at Fahrenheit club and lounge, Niger West bus stop, Orita Challenge, Ibadan, has been set aside to appreciate Saidi Balogun’s immense contribution to the development of movie production in the country and to host him to a night of fun that allows his growing fans in the capital city to interact with one of the most decorated Yoruba actors.

Speaking on the event, the spokesperson of TGB media consult, Mr. David Adebule, said the idea to bring top Nollywood stars to Ibadan to celebrate with Saidi was to add glamour to the event.

“I know a lot of people have been looking forward to the night and that is why we are bringing some of the faces the people would love to see. Jide Kosoko, Grace Amar and others are coming, which makes it more interesting. The Earth Quake guys had their break from Ibadan; they love Saidi Balogun and they are ready to be part of the event”, he said.

The birthday bash, according to Mr Adebule, will also have in attendance popular Yoruba actors such as Sunkanmi Omobolanle, Eniola Olaniyan, Muyiwa Adegoke (Londoner). Entertainment Writers Association of Nigeria (EWAN), media houses and private organisations have also promised to be part of the event.
