I watched it on Monday and im not sure about this nigerian version. The first thing i've got to comment on is the lack of good looking men in the first episode, whats that about?? surely we've got more good looking men in Naija.

But i am glad this is a naija version because i think nigerians are still deluded that HIV/AIDS is a southern african problem whereas this problem has come home to roost and yet people are still uneducated about it. Lots of Nigerian's are HIV carriers and a lots of people have died of full blown Aids and their family hide the cause of death.
Wikipedia reportsd South Africa as having the largest population living with the disease, at well over 5 million people infected, followed by Nigeria in 2nd place

For some reason Season 3, Episode 2 is not yet available for viewing on the IrokoTv website. Anyone else having the same problem?

It's on youtube and it is pretty good. The Sophie character blows everyone else acting wise. The woman has the face and the presence and her acting skills are there (stay healthy and keep your figure and she will have longevity). I am really hoping one of the good directors will pick her up, she's really good.

The Ekene guy, he's quite good looking and he's acting is also very impressive. So is Tobi (the comot-for-my-bed guy) is mad gorgeous and he's acting is there as well. Princess came outta nowhere and she's good. Honestly, these three are the creme de la creme of the entire series, thus far.

I forgot, Malaika and Chris Attoh's character are also very good. The series is good. It incorporates music...Naija music very well. The camera work is beautiful. It explores as much of Lagos as it needs to, and the HIV matter is covered well. Another point to note, the weaving of various language. I hear Yoruba, Hausa, something from Ghana. I wish the script could include hints as to what language this is but it's okay.

So, Tiwa is not horrible but she could use work if she truly wants to act. With Foye, the director either should have provided some sort of backstory on the accent (she just came back) or explained why she had it because it is a hell of a distraction. I cannot tell if she does talk like that, it's not even a proper English accent but full on London, and then it switches. Sophie and Ekene and Princess maintain their own accent and it's not jarring when they use pidgin or add some indigenous phrases.

Overall, I like it and I want to keep seeing it.

Foye's accent is not British (my fellow Britons please chime in). The inflection on the words are all over the place. I struggle to understand what she is saying and yet i was born and bred in United Kingdom. I also find her acting really bad, sems she doesnt seem to know what to do with her face, her scenes are the least favorite for me to watch.

Sophie on the other hand is a class act, very natural and has a very likeable quality about her, not to mention that she is also a very beautiful woman. I am so like like Princess aand i am looking forward to the development of her character.
