Thanks for sharing, I'm mos def interested. It moves so fast, but yet, it's mellow. I don't know how they did it, but I was hooked as soon as the girl put the money in her mom's wrapper!!! I love the scene where she 'markets' herself, way to go there!!!

VB, you think naija fit match the production standard of this show? And i mean that as a TV show and not as a movie. The editing work is 1st class.
Of course we fit match am eerrrrmmmmmm as long as we stop being too lazy BUT as long as we like our kpa, kpa, kpa... never!!

Just seen the first 3 episodes and it's seriously good! Now on to episode 4.

Should have known. The show is MTV base sponsored. Add Kenya to that and we have AIDS stories. No wonder the production value is so high. Still love it, though.

Usually i shy away from shows or movies that try to teach morals, they tend to be preachy, but this show is entertaining as well as informative.

Ah, got a bit confused. Season 1 is just 3 episodes then it moves onto Season 2 called - Shuga: Love, Sex, Money. It's either 6 or 12 episodes; can't make out what title goes with what... but I'm gonna start season 2 and should find out!
On apple tv i had to click on "shuga" playlist and i have all the episodes lined up properly, dont know if you can do that on another device...
Yeah season 1 has 3 episodes.

I'm watching on YouTube and finding them bit by bit. It still is 'confusing' finding them... is there a 3rd one?

OK, cause I got confused after Ep. 3, as soon as I start understanding the Xters, they go and change on me. Is this standard? I was gearing up for a show with continuity, not change of characters. Anyhow, if there are other episodes with the original cast members and the continuation of the stories, please someone let me know.

After episode 3... that's it for the season - each episode focused on one character. Season 2 starts with a chararcter from season 1 (Remember Violet? She just got a weekly column contract; it follows on from much later after she's found out she's 'positive' and she also had a video-conf-call with the main girl from season 1). Are you scrubbing through? Howcome you got confused?

Vince; it was more or less made by MTV... no wonder the high prod values. Did you watch the 'Shuga-Behind The Scenes'? Plus there is a ton of stuff on the MTV: Staying Alive Vimeo page.

I got confused myself but i switched to the Love Sex and Money episodes. The same characters in there too. Just switch over to that show.

No, I was watching and a few of the Xters appear on and off, but they kept Leo it seems. I hope the revisit the first Xters. I can't find Episode 4, so I started on 5. Quick question to you guys in the biz, I know the message is about AIDS and condoms, but why the overkill?
