What has racism got to do with a man being depicted as a son not having any resemblance with his supposed parents? Especially with features so different?

No not at all i just dont think the complexion of his mother or father mattered as they were not the center of the film ..maybe i blew it over the top with the racism comment but are you calling for them to start casting according to the complexion of the lead and facial similarities if it will be hard to find actors that resemble each other o

The film appeared to be dated back to slavery days so i am assuming his father was of some kind of european descent especially with that afro he was rocking :609:

Who knows... but na minor issue na... angelsty I wasnt trying to push ya buttons im typing papers ill do that next week:ringed

They always give mixed people two black parents. I found it very odd at first but I have just accepted it now.

Its hard for me to understand my dear, is it that they cant find one light skinned parent? Or at least, one that does not have our typical 'hungry, village man' feature like Majid's dad in that movie? And the man didnt even say one word!!! How hard is it to find a waka-pass albino who dont have a ny line to say in the movie?

Arrrrghhh! Its such little details that shows we still got a long road to walk!

I wont even talk about ALL the girls wearing micro minis! is that the only way to dress 'sexy'?

Angel, i think what DD was trying to say is that, it is not so much of an issue, because racism is not an issue in naija where you need to get it right, there are no human right groups up in arms about the racial "mago-mago" in the movie, as there would have been if it was a hollywood movie, cos you know if they cast Jeniffer Beals with two black parents, NAACP for don sue tey tey, that what i understood from DD... How are we dey?
