the faact that you actually blame them for suspending her, do you know the level of disgrace and embarassment she caused them? if that's the case anita hogan or whatever her name is should have been supported too right? when we make wrong decisions it's up to us to fix it no one told her to go and trafik anything it's up to her to live with her stupidity. i understand if it was for a mild crime but damn drugs i know even she knew that was coming. anyway a suspension should be the least of her worries she's looking at how many years in jail

I read the news yesterday but I was waiting for another Newpaper to carry as I don't want to jump into conclusion. Now the NigerianTribune has also carried the bombshell today. I adore that woman in movies but now I don't know. I watched her spraying Obesere in one DVD and I was thinking to myself this woman don land as na koko she dey carry. May the Lord help her out of this o. My 2 cents
It is the blessing of the Lord that maketh rich and adds no sorrow!
Its pure greed, this is certainly not her first time, am sure.If they were to do proper investigation almost all the yoruba stars would be behind bars. thats how they getmoney to live so big and they would make the upcoming actors to be running up and down thinking acting fetch that much money. U need to know the kind of cars some of them drive....and if u hear how much tehy get paid per movie, u go know say EFCC gat some work to do. Not even in the yoruba industry where Ogogo can ask Opeyemi Ayeola to act in his film and he wont pay her a dime, promising not to collect a dime too if she uses him...they too trade by bater alot, they call it being their brother's keeper.
So u imagine, how about the flashy cars, left to me, its her biz if she carries drugs, we all are not saints here and so are the actors and the so called guilds that suspended her.
She should be readyto face the consequences, thats if the case is not bought off cos thats what most people here are saying. Am not in support of drug pushing, apart from commiting a criminal act, u are also endangering your life.
i am afraid that this case will be swept under the carpet if enuff publicity is not given to it oh!!..the same NDLEA might come out and say they made a mistake in arresting her and then apologise to her and then turn around to blast the nigerian press for blowing it outta proportion...money will talk and bullsheet will walk!!!
her longa thraot was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long so let her pay any price that comes with her crime,my own about her being suspended is that those suspending her are able to talk cos they hve not bin caught yet.like MW said the yoruba movie industry is ALL BOUT DRUG PEDDLING:I HVE HEARD OF BIGGER NAMES BEING COURIERS but i no go talk yet till them catch them.in as much as i dont like what she done,i sympathise with her and wish her a good stay in jail!!!..
wunmi losing weight from shock!!
Popular Yoruba female actress, Yetunde Wunmi, who was arrested last Saturday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMA), Ikeja on her way to London for alleged drug trafficking, is still being held at the airport cell of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). Authoritative NDLEA sources at the airport told P.M.News this morning that Wunmi was still being held at the airport and that immediately she regains her composure, she would be transferred to the Shaw Road, Ikoyi office of NDLEA for further interrogation.
It was learnt that the actress who had excreted more than 92 wraps of cocaine (condom size) had emaciated and was in a bad shape. “She would need to recover herself before we can interrogate her,” the source added. P.M.News gathered that the process of excreting the substances had taken its toll on Wunmi. She was said to have spent more than seven hours to finish the whole process after which she was taken to a rest room by female NDLEA officials to rest. P.M.News also gathered that many popular Yoruba actors, actresses and relations of the detained actress have been making enquiries about her at the NDLEA office.
The boss of a film production outfit on the mainland was said to have made frantic efforts to see her on Monday but NDLEA officials prevented him from doing so. One of her relatives, it was learnt, was allowed to give her some clothes to change from the white jeans and T-Shirt she wore when she was arrested. There are also reports that NDLEA officials at the airport are under intense pressure from influential businessmen and top government officials to “treat her gently.” Meanwhile, as investigation cosntinues, NDLEA officials, it was gathered, are on the trail of the baron responsible for the offence.
Forreals? Are you serious? Dang!
Hmmm.....still like a dream to me.
This is a big shame, and I hope it will serve as a lesson and a warning to those who have such intentions.
