This story is VERY True. The lady used to attend the same church my mother attends in Dallas. My mother heard about the women's situation outside of the web. She is just defending herself because her husband is making accusations in Dallas.

It's rather not sensible enough to take sides on this issue .However , we are talking of 18 years marriage in U.S not Nigeria. To me , the man is probably not as bad as he has been potrayed by his (ex) wife. A woman could not have been subjected to the kind of hardship she described..for 18 years... and stay silent.

What is hidden before men is clear to the almighty. Time will tell...

Is she for real?? I mean..check this quote out and tell me this is for real.
"When I tried to get the phone from him, he called the police and told them that I prevented him from making a 911 call. I thought it was a joke until the police came and handcuffed me and put me in Jail. I spent that weekend in jail while he was away in Miami enjoying himself. I had no way of contacting anybody."

Though I haven't finished the story but I don't think there is a way in hell a police, in the United States, can arrest a woman because she doesn't want her husband to dial 911. Give me a break abeg!! Reading on....

This happens all the time. You just never hear about it. You should go and sit in family court cases and see what crazy stories of abuse and the woman stays. There are various reasons why women stay in abusive relationships.
