I prefer the second dress but I would do it without that ribbon/belt. I like the tortoise shell detail on the purse but can you carry a white purse for a formal evening affair especially with that lace. Any plain black leather clutch in your closet will do. I am so into laces right now so I adore bother dresses but I think I prefer the second one. I think since you are wearing such a lace detailed cocktail like dress that your accesories need to be more on the formal side.

Blackpearl are you also Bolanle or am I just assuming you guys are the same
Okay let me be a bit more specific in here.
I am so crazy about lace that it's not even funny. I think dem swear for me or something. All I go for these days is lace and since it is a bit of a more conservative gathering lace was just IT for me. The reason why I am rooting for dress number two is, cause it gives me a bit more of hips. I do not have wide hips (another thing i am angry with God about). The other one does look good on me but I just think the first one gives me more of a compact shape. I am the typical busty but no hips figure.
I still have time to ponder about it. I thought of color blocking and doing white and black, initially. But then again i am so picky when it comes to cream or white shoes, that I might just scratch that. But i do really love the clutch but as it seems, i will probably just got with something more elegant and formal. I do understand that both styles clash a little bit.

Lookey here, if you love the clutch, abeg, USE THE DAMN thing! Work with the tortoise rim, I'm telling you, the rim is what makes that purse. Absolutely, dress 2 is it, that first one, mos def not feeling it, but I have to see on you, that would work for a woman with a woman's shape, not some of these shapeless yanshless models. anyhow, Color block is great, but if it's evening, I'd nude the platforms (nude in the color scheme of the tortoise rim on the clutch), do brass or brass brushed bracelet, simple elegant earrings and call it a day, you would wow them and with all these people vested, you must post pics o!!

So these are a couple of sites i used to shop on while living in the UK. I will give my two cents on each i recommend tho....

1) Sarenza.co.uk : Is a nice online site, never experience issues concerning shippings or returns, however they are a bit pricey and at times all they have is just blah. I used to shop there once in a blue moon but yeah the two pairs below, made my heart skip. (not the price tho, the design. I know if i look long enough I WILL find them somewhere else for a cheaper price) Prezy by Paul & Betty (Blue) | Sarenza UK | Your Sandals Prezy Paul & Betty delivered for Free and Kenglish Leather Wedge by Lollipops (Beige) | Sarenza UK | Your Lace-ups Kenglish Leather Wedge Lollipops delivered for Free

2)Kurt Geiger: Has some AMAZING shoes (even for men!!!!). People like Sifu would actually have a hard time coming out of stores like this. For me it is the ultimate experience in the store and online. It's hard for me to say NO to a pair of Kurt Geiger shoes I REALLY like. You may have size issues (as in his cuts are quite small so you may need to take it up half a size) I am not too thrilled about his summer collection though.
GEMMA - Occasion - Shoes - Women

3)Zalando : Bought a pair of shoes there once and sent it back. I did not have a bad experience but the shoes turned out to look quite differently from what I have imagined. Heels | Womens Shoes | ZALANDO.CO.UK

4) NEXT: Now I really do not care what anybody else says but next has some pieces that make your heart skip. I love NEXT, honestly I do.
I mean look at this: Buy Nude And Black Cut Out Sandals from the Next UK online shop and Buy Pewter Sequin High Peep Toe Shoe Boots from the Next UK online shop and YE I AM finished!! Now I am missing winter a lirru bit! Buy Tan Front Zip Ankle Wedge Boots from the Next UK online shop If you don't have a problem with someone else rocking the same pair of shoes you have, then you're good to go.

5) ALDO: Now living in the USA makes me realize much more how much they rip us off in the UK.
Shop Women's Sandals at ALDOshoes.com

OK, in case i remember more i will add up to it. Hope this helps a lirru bit :)

Hmm...that first one took my breath away! I started thinking about what would go with them in my wardrobe.

2)Kurt Geiger: Has some AMAZING shoes (even for men!!!!). People like Sifu would actually have a hard time coming out of stores like this. Kurt Geiger do platforms and that usually puts me off. I'm not a fan of platforms. Still hoping they'll go out of fashion and we'll return to wearing reasonably high heels

3)Zalando : Bought a pair of shoes there once and sent it back. I did not have a bad experience but the shoes turned out to look quite differently from what I have imagined. Heels | Womens Shoes | ZALANDO.CO.UK

They've got nice shoe designs though. I might give them a try and see for myself. Shebi I can always return if I don't like them.

4) NEXT: Now I really do not care what anybody else says but next has some pieces that make your heart skip. I love NEXT, honestly I do.

Ok, I am one of those who has beef with NEXT. They seem to have lost the x factor for me with their shoes, so I don't even go there anymore searching for shoes. However, seeing those ones you put there, I might have to change my mind! Those are shoes!!!!

5) ALDO: Now living in the USA makes me realize much more how much they rip us off in the UK.

Yes, we have an ALDO store in my neck of the woods and the shoes are pricy compared to online...but I just wanna live there everytime I go there. I must have an addiction to shoes :-(

OK, in case i remember more i will add up to it. Hope this helps a lirru bit :)
Thanks a lot!!!

Yeah Sarenza has some breath taking shoes, the only thing is that they are quite expensive and trust me in todays economy i cannot be spending money anyhow. I want my kids to graduate without gbese. Oh well, but if i really like a pair i usually go and price match online o. Hit a sister up if you need more info on that, seriouslty.

Now Kurt Geiger is my person o. But it depends on the collection, honestly. I wasn't too happy with his summer collection. And he has some pretty decent shoes too (as in no platforms)

Now with NEXT ha,, you need to be a smart shopper. I am telling you. Shopping at NEXT is like shopping at H&M. Only the smartest survive o. See the number one mistake i used to do is, see a nice pair of shoes or whatever online and think i can get it in the store. VERY WRONG, either they dont have it my size OR they dont have it at all or it is sold out. So best thing is, once a new collection is out, just help yourself and order it online. They are very easy going when it comes to returns and you can do the returns in the store too. I dont know if they have changed that policy though. Happy shopping mami.

To be honest i am not too crazy about Aldo UK. Have the feeling they are more creative in the states. Don't know jare.

Then some of my friends are crazily into vintage so you may find something you like here

Absolute Vintage

and http://www.beyondretro.com/en/women/where/category/dresses.html you might just be lucky finding something you really like.

:)
